I have eaten there several times, and always enjoyed the food. Love the Caribbean Benedict! Coffee is good. Prices are a little high, but I go there as a treat, not on a regular basis. Service was fine. Only people who can climb stairs

I took friends out for a thank-you breakfast for helping me move to Bend. My french toast with fresh apples, our eggs benedict, the real roast beef hash - all of it was beautifully cooked and presented.

Our waitress was both warm and competent, a gift on a Sunday morning when the place was packed.

I'd eat there every morning if my writer's budget and my, shall we say, "mature" waistline could afford it.

Pros: fabulous creative menu, friendly but not invasive service,

Cons: waits on weekends

Do not waste you time waiting for a table at this restaurant. I went with some friends on a Sunday morning and we were told it was going to be a 20min wait. Over an hour later we still weren't seated and I noticed that people arriving later than us were being seated before us. I went to talk with the hostess several times and she kept saying that we were next. Finally, my patience had worn thin and I told her to cancel our reservation. I started to leave and then someone came out to the parking lot to tell us they had a table ready for us. We started to walk back to the restuarant and found that they had seated someone else at our table. What a joke!!! This place is so poorly run and to top it off the food is only average. Please people, learn from our mistake and go elsewhere!!!!!

Pros: nothing, food is not that good

Cons: too long of a wait

It is well worth the wait- located in a quaint old victorian on the westside of Bend. Good food and good service. We will definitely be back again, it was good

this place is always packed. granted I'm not a breakfast person, but even for lunch it?s just okay. the location is great. the service has always been good. but when it comes down to it, it?s all about the food and victorian cafe lacks what it takes to have me wait an hour for a table .

We were in Bend for 5 days last year and we had breakfast here three times. It is so tiny, but we never had to wait long. I usually tried the special and my husband had omelettes or eggs benedict. The food was tasty, the service good, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you have stumbled upon some kind of secret place that only locals know about.

we went while visiting for the bend film festival. there was a wait, but expected it and enjoyed coffee while waiting. the staff was great, all nice and friendly. we ordered different benedicts and shared them - all were delicious - but the ahi tuna special was amazing! seared tuna with tempura veggies and wasabi hollandaise. we all agreed to go back on our next trip to bend.

Went to breakfast yesterday with my fiance and son. Although the wait was about 15 minutes, it was well worth it as the selection and quality of food was terrific. I had the seafood omelette, which was socked with salmon and crab. Yummm! I liked the thin sliced potatoes and scones as well. My fiance and son enjoyed their meals as well.

Great Bloody Mary's too. Crammed with lots of vege's.

Cons: Parking can be a hassle and the wait a pain, but worth it.

When we were in Bend, OR the local dining guide raved about the Victorian Cafe and saved our last day to try out the cafe. Had to wait for the food for a while but when the food came out, it looked colorful enough to initiate my first forkful immediately. However, the potatoes were not thoroughly warmed and it was not that good. Nothing unique about the scones, nor omelettes that I tried. Had a pompous waitor, which made the dining experience worse. Overall, it is overly hyped. IHOP was in the city and was extremely busy, too.

The food is presented beautifully and tastes incredible. The waite staff is great and the patrons all around you are in great spirits. There is a little wait for a seat, but the staff takes care of ou while you wait. Nobody minds waiting because the food is worth it.
