Dana Beaudoin at Beauty First at Beaverton Town Center is not just Stylist but she is Stylist/Artist. She is absolutely the best in what she does. I??m so glad I have found a true professional who provides truly outstanding experience. Thank you!!!

i just want to respond to Rose who wrote in about her eye brow wax service she received from me. i really wish she would be honest and tell people what really happened. rose has been in before and i have personally waxed her on other occasions. she was asked to disclose any other treatments she had prior to the service, and did indeed sign a waiver stating that she did not have anything going on that would cause harm to her if waxed. i then waxed rose and she did had a pinpoint spot of bleeding that would not stop. i told her about it and showed her in the mirror. as she was getting up from the table, i noticed a quarter sized spot of dried blood on her head. i also showed her in the mirror, and it was at that time that she admitted that she had just come from an accupuncture treatment. i told her that was the reason for the spot of bleeding under her brow. she paid for the service, did not tip as she stated in her post, and left the salon. i only bring up the tip because of the lie, not because i am or was ever concerned about it.
she called and then came in a couple days later complaining and demanding her money back. my salon manager asked her about the accupunture and rose completely denied the treatment. this is the reason she did not get an "admission" of a mistake. i did not make a mistake in the way i performed this service. i have waxed hundreds of brows, including rose, in my career, and have never had an experience like this. accidents do happen to all of us, i mean, we are human, but i did nothing wrong in this case. rose needed to disclose her treatments, and any other new medications or health issues she had. that is the responsible thing to do, and it is completely unfair of her to slander my reputation in this way because she chose not to be truthful. she comes off as a bitter, angry person, and i am glad she will be taking her business to a more "upscale" salon as she states she is going to do. that is truly wonderful news to me and i wish her only the best in her pursuit of the perfection she desires.

The store is well stocked and has just about every type of beauty product you could want. Shampoo/conditioner, nail polish and care, brushes, lotions, etc. This is where I buy all my OPI nail polish!

The staff is great at helping you find what you need or if they don't have it (which rarely happens) recommending something comparable. Their prices are totally fair and if you want to save even more, join their Beauty First club and you will be sent coupons and other money saving materials.

Wow. The selection at Beauty First is amazing. They have every shampoo and conditioner you've ever heard of. They also have a great selection of high quality nail products and cute jewelry. If you can't find what you're looking for they can often order it or find out what a comparable product would be. You can join the Beauty First Club for additional savings and mailings.
