Heron Lakes Golf Course

One of the best public golf courses in Portland. The Great Blue Course is extremely difficult. I've seen many good rounds go up in smoke on a couple of bad holes. Lots of water, plenty of sand, this course has it all. The Green back is a kinder version of the Blue Course, but can be just as difficult. A great experience no matter what course you play.

When at corporate office, we did a golf event here at Heron Lakes. I thought the course was well manicured and challenging enough for me, an average golfer. Price seemed fine too.

Heron Lakes have okay courses. There are two: the blue and the green. I like the layout of these courses, but the conditions are average. It is always really busy as well so you will have to be patient when playing. Heron Lakes will run you around $29 per person. Their pro shop carries all the name brands, but their prices run higher than other golf stores in town.
