Kadel's is AWESOME. Got my car in for repairs 1 week after my accident and picked up 8 days later. Paint matches and passed the direct sunlight test!!! Detailed inside & out and Rodney was a "stickler" for having the car back to me perfect condition. Best experience with a body shop in my entire driving career (which is extensive).

I went to Kadel's because it was certified by AAA. When I got the estimate, I forwarded it to a family acquaintance who owns a shop that specializes in my vehicle make. He noted that there were a lot of 'fluff' charges: A few hours to cut and trim used parts when no used parts were listed. Three hours of labor to repair the lock pillar when the entire quarter panel containing the lock pillar was going to be replaced. Double charged for alignment. They charged for a urethane kit when the part being replaced sits in a rubber gasket, not urethane. The most costly portion of the estimate was a part valued at $1300. My family friend found a used part for $175. This is a part meant to last the life of the car so it's 'used' status will not affect the performance or look of the vehicle. I was also overcharged for other parts new from the maker. Ultimately, I got a quote from his shop (a luxury brand vehicle shop, at that) that was 60% of the cost of the quote from Kadel's.

Now, with that said, Kadel's may still be better than their competitors. I have a feeling that this sort of cost inflation is standard in the industry. But if you know anyone in the business, I would recommend having them take a look so you can dispute unnecessary charges.

I am very impressed with the service I received from Kadel's Auto Body. I took my car to them the same day it was hit. They were able to give my car a thorough inspection for damage and quote for repairs within 15 minutes. They worked directly with my insurance company and were able to start working on the repairs the very next day. A rental car was waiting for me when I arrived to drop off my car. Within four days my car's repairs were completed and I was able to leave the rental car there.

They did all the paperwork. One would never know that my car had been hit--the repairs are impeccable. They even vacuumed and cleaned my car for me!

Car accidents can be extremely inconvenient, but Kadel's made it the most hassle-free experience.

I had to get some minor paint repair work done, and after getting a few quotes, I found Kadels to be the cheapest. The only trouble was that they were so busy, that they could not take my car for another 11 business days. Since this was a minor repair, I didn't mind. If it had been a major collision repair and/or the car was not driveable, 11 days would be a real inconvenience. They took 3 days for the repair, due to it being an import car with 3-layer metallic paint. The staff were really friendly. The shuttle bus service is really convenient, and they'll find you even if you're in middle of nowhere.

PROS: Friendly service. Shuttle bus pick-up & drop-off.
CONS: Had to wait 2 weeks for a minor paint repair.
