Mr. Plywood

by K. T. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,388

This is a great alternative to the big box stores and offers much, much more when it comes to wood. They are able to order beautiful pieces of African mahogany for special projects and I am certain you can get just about anything from this local shop!!

Best selection of paneling in town

by A G. | top100 Top100 | Rank: 60

After driving all over Portland to look at paneling, we were directed to Mr. Plywood by one of its competitors and told we'd find the best selection in town, and we did. However, I was in the store for fifteen minutes and not one single salesperson came over to help me or even spoke to me. And it's not like they were busy. It would be nice to have service to go with the selection, but the selection of plywood, paneling, etc. is great.

Best wood prices in town!

by Michelle K. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,357

My husband absolutely loves this place, and I'm fairly sure that we go at least 3 times a month. They have the best plywood prices and selection in town. Paneling of all colors and styles (really), foam board, lauan, baltic birch, oak, all sorts of trim and a decent selection of related building supplies. If you're building a fence, you have to check their prices out first.
