Can find better service at a lower price

by bob b.

I have been a client at AHA for a short time and will certainly not continue. I feel my pet was looked at as a way to milk me for every nickel I had when much easier, less expensive avenues could have been sought. The doctors were also very impersonal and I had to remind one to check my dogs heart and very basic functions at the time of his visit...100% not recommended and NOT worth their prices. Other vets in town are cheaper and higher quality.

Best vet in Eugene

by laurie u.

I am very picky about the care my dog gets, and I can say without hesitation that AHA has never treated her without the ultimate in concern, skill and kindness. We first came to this vet after living in Eugene only three weeks and my dog became seriously ill overnight. Dr. Greer had never seen her before, but he came recommended by my vet in Phoenix. Dr. Greer was kind, gentle, and knew immediately what was wrong. It was, however, a very serious problem and we lost her the next day at the emergency clinic in Springfield. When we got our new puppy six months later, we went to AHA and she has been given what I believe is the best care a caregiver can provide for their dog. I would have no reservations whatsoever about recommending this practice to anyone who loves their pets. We are lucky to have them in the area.

Response to "If you love your pets..."

by Jim J.

I am the practice manager at Animal Health Associates. We have looked into the concerns raised by this client and have found them to be without merit. I cannot go into the medical details because of confidentiality issues, but in a nutshell, this client demanded a prescription without proper diagnostic work, and then became angry when his credit card company ruled against his dispute of the charges. He has posted many negative reviews of us on the Internet; please note the large number of negative reviews dated 3/9/07 and 3/10/07 (the day after the credit card company denied his dispute.) We are sensitive to customer service issues and are always willing to work with clients who take issue with our fees. We are sorry that this gentleman was unhappy with our service.

If you love your pets, don't go to Animal Health Associates in Eugene!

by Anonymous

For an animal hospital I was shocked at how they treated my pet when I took him in there, no compassion for a sick dog and they really just treated him poorly. The doctor just seemed cold and didn't really seem to enjoy working for animals.

For them it seems to be all about the money and how much they could rack up the bill for. I agree with you and would recommend looking elsewhere for your vet needs, I did!

Their pet packages save money

by Crystal R. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,833

We have been taking my cats here since they were kittens and have always been happy with the service. The location is a little hard to get into / out of, but the service makes up for it. I recommend getting their kitten package for the first year as you will save lots of money on all of those needed shots.
