I choose Courtesy Ford over all the other dealers because of the awesome knowledge of the sales people. I dealt with Anthony and Ben and both guys blew me away with how much they knew and how much time and effort they were willing to take to get me the perfect vehicle. Every one was great! Alyssa in finance was great as well. If you want to experience a modern car dealership this is the place. They truely care about the customer and have set themselves aside. This is the best car buying experience me or my wife have EVER had. Thank you Courtesy... George & Katie

My son had searched out a Transit Connect as a possible vehicle for a wheelchair lift. He saw where he could see one at Courtesy Ford and went to take a look. Ben Humphries talked with him at length and got him very excited about the Transit. Waiting for the funding was all that was stopping him. Finally the day came to seriously talk so I met him at Courtesy Ford.

My son was already speaking with Ben when I arrived. I was very pleased with the relationship they had developed. The next step was to find a lift, Ben met us at All in One mobility. We got my son in the Transit with ramps and were able to see that it would work. Then we learned the combined weight of my son and his wheelchair was to much for the lift that would fit in the vehicle.

We were all sad about this but it did not stop Ben from researching where we could possibly find a different lift that would work. He found where we could get one and met us over there again with the Transit. My son and I were not happy with the way they were treating us especially since what they were trying to do was sell us one of their vehicles. Ben helped me through the stress I was beginning to feel and even when the other people tried to get him to leave so they could sell us a van, Ben stayed with me. I am very thankful for that.

None of us were happy so Ben and I went back to All in One Mobility and they were able to connect us up with a company in Independence, Oregon that could also get the lift that would work and amazingly enough quite a bit cheaper.

I can not say enough about how the experience of buying the Transit Connect was made so much easier with a salesman like Ben that seemed to genuinely care about our needs.

On September 20th, my partner and I went looking at a 2011 Ford F-150 FX4. I had been working with David via email, so that's who we talked with once we were on site. He was good, he certainly knows what he's talking about.

My partner and I both filled out credit applications, and they told us that based upon our credit scores we had 3 options. 4% @84 months, 1.9% @ 72 months, and the third one I can't remember. I specifically asked if these options were based upon our credit scores as we had 0% @ 60 months with our current truck. So we simply didn't want to move unless everything worked out. Once we got to the financing portion they told me my credit file was locked. I knew this. They asked me to un-lock it so they could pull it (which I did the following day). We opted for the maintenance package and the Northwest package, finally arriving at a payment of just shy of $600 for 84 months @ 4.25% (different from the 4% we had seen earlier). No matter, the numbers were still within our budget. The next day I unlocked the requested credit file (Equifax) and assumed that everything was OK. We took the truck home and had the usual celebratory things with it.

Saturday, September 24th, 4 days later I got a call asking if I had unlocked my credit report. I had, I confirmed this online, and everything was ok. He said that he still couldn't access my file. I offered to fax over a copy of ALL THREE reports showing the scores. He accepted, and I faxed them over and confirmed that he received them. We assumed that everything was ok, again.

On Monday, September 26 I got a call from the finance manager (Uriah) saying that things didn't work out the way they had hoped, and that they were going to need to have my partner Bruce (BJ) as the primary on the loan. I asked if our payment was going to change, and he told me he didn't see any change there. He asked if I could come in either thursday or Friday to sign the paperwork. I asked if they could just send it to me, like we had talked about originally. He said no, we were going to have to come in, and even pressured me when I said I couldn't come in until Saturday. He wanted to make "month end" numbers. Ya, I get it. You have sales quotas. Please understand that I live in Cornelius Oregon. It's no small feat for me to drive clear across town to your site. Seriously.

Ok, I moved things around to come in on Friday night. Understanding that your team was trying to make the deal happen. I even called and spoke again with Uriah and I, again, asked him if the terms had changed. He said that the length of the loan had changed, because of that we were getting an extra $1,000 rebate from FMC and that my partner would need to be primary on the loan. We're OK with that I said. I asked if the interest rate had taken a hit, and he replied that he didn't think so. On Friday we arrived at about 5:00 and waited.

And waited.

25 minutes later we finally were seen by someone who had NO idea what was going on with our deal and seemed seriously disinterested in even being there. I'm sorry, I didn't write down his name. Worse yet, they were trying to ask for an additional $1,000 down, and the interest rate was jacked to over 8%! This was FAR different than the only change being that we were going to get an additional $1,000 in rebates and our payment terms would change from 84 months to 72 months. To be honest, even when I asked, he didn't tell me my interest rate.

We balked. We had already told David that $1,500 was what we had for a downpayment. Period. And honestly we were prepared to walk away the night of the purchase. We were in no danger with our current truck, and we were in an even better deal. Uriah finally came in and said that he would call Ford Motor Credit and do a "out the door" call to get us terms that would better fit our budget. "I don't wanna call Ford unless this is what you want.." We asked for some time and talked about it. Honestly we almost walked away. During our discussion we talked about the embarrassment of having shown all of our friends the new truck, driven it around for 10 days, only to have to return it because the financing wouldn't work. Sickening.

We called the other finance person back in and accepted the offer. They had to come up $800 on the trade, and lower the interest rate to 6.75% (making me think that they had more control over this the whole time). There was no call to Ford, no call to anyone. It was done. We were told that the maintenance package and the Northwest protections were no longer included in the deal, nor was the bed liner we inquired about. Just the truck. All that at a payment $75 more than we originally wrote the deal for back on September 20th.

The interest rate changed (x4) the payment changed (x2) the terms changed (x3) and the PRICE OF THE TRUCK changed (x2)!!
STAY AWAY.

Courtesy Ford's sale manager is cool and great to work with. I can't say the same about the Service Department, though. Every time I had to deal with them, they disappointed me greatly with their lack of knowledge on their own cars. Just last week I needed to change the horn on my 2006 Mercury Mariner and not being able to find any info online as far as where the horn is located on this model, I called the service department to ask them, since I ordered the horn from them. So I ask on of the service guys there and after he 'consults' with his co-worker, he tells me the horn on the 2006 Mercury Mariner is located in front of the radiator, on the passenger side and it's very easy to get to. I make sure he's 100% sure of that and he's telling me that he's 100% certain. Sure enough, after taking the 2 front wheels off to get to the front bumper 14 screws on each side, the horn was located on the DRIVER's side, in front of the headlamp... I mean, are you guys really serious working on cars without having a clue of where stuff is located?!

This dealer has a problem with its management and business integrity. They low-ball you on your trade in after presenting you with the industry generated trade-in value. The General Manager and Sales manager are dishonest and show no propensity to make right those things which are bad about the experience. I spent 8 hours picking up a vehicle I ordered with should have only take me at most 2-3 hours. It was the usual horse and pony show that "used car salesmen" put people through. Ford has a problem with the SYNC product connecting cell phones and making calls - this has been a known problem for some months as verified by a Ford dealer in Seattle. I picked up a new 2011 Edge and the SYNC wouldn't pair with a cell phone. The Dealership told me to take it to another dealer in the Seattle area the next day. I found out from the SYNC specialist at the Seattle dealer that not only was this a known problem, it has been a known problem for some time. This was not disclosed by Courtesy Ford. In short, they simply lied to make the sale. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!

I went to Courtesy Ford thinking they were a reputable dealership as they have Ford backing their name. I was wrong. Sure they seem nice at first like they really want to help but they do the opposite. I bought a used car per a written agreement 3 things needed to be fixed if I bought the car. I took it in 3 days after I bought it and they fixed nothing after 2 days. Then I took it back a week later hoping it would get taken care of, wrong again they only fixed 2 things. Finally I took it back after having them promise they would fix it this time. I got a call after I drop it off saying that I need to hand the written agreement over to them since they all of a sudden don't have their copy and they won't fix it until they have it even though they had the other two items fixed which were on the same written agreement it has now been 3 weeks and they still haven't fixed it....needless to say everything has been a hastle and have received the run around over and over again. I will never recommend anyone to buy a car from them!

I continue to go back because of the service department and Brian Sterrett, but this time I owe a huge thank you to David Hughes and Uriah Beltran - sales associate and finance guru! Thanks to them both for the smooth conversion to my new Escape Limited!

My husband and I decided to buy another car this past week. He has been a customer at Courtesy Ford before. We purchased a 2011 candy red Taurus SHO. It is a beautiful car. The internet salesman Joe was superb. He answered all of our questions and his knowledge was unsurpassed. He was very down to earth and engaging and did not try to put anything over on us. He was very thorough and made sure we new the basics of the Navigation and other instruments to get us down the road for the night. The Sales Manager (I am so sorry, at the moment my mind is drawing a blank and I have forgotten your name) was wonderful. He treated us like we were friends and was not out for our money. His knowledge extended past cars and beyond and that was comforting. Sam the finance guy was awesome. His sense of humor is very funny and helped us feel comfortable signing our lives away!!! I also liked his cup of spilled coffee that looked real. I think that is hilarious and would like one for my desk. All in all my experience was phenominal and if we ever buy a car again, we will go back to Courtesy Ford. Thanks to all of you that we came into contact with last week! Look forward to seeing you all again in 6 mos!

Great Service - Courteous, informative all with a smile! Great Experience! We contacted Ammie on the internet. Her response was almost immediate. We came in, took the car for a test drive, turned over our trade-in and drive away with a new car...no muss no fuss! We would recommend her to anyone! Michael the New Car Sales Manager greeted us at several different points in the sales experience. Great Team!

I've always been a fan of Courtesy Ford. I owned a very (very, VERY) old Ford Escort that I brought in to the service department (one of many visits to the friendly staff there) to repair a new and interesting 'my car is too old to drive' kind of problem.

They told me it was a major part and would be expensive (more than I thought I could afford to keep a 20 year old car on wheels). So we went to the Sales department to look around and get an idea at how much it would cost monthly for a new car, to see if we had the budget.

Dave Worley walked us through everything and in the end three first-time car buyers managed to leave the lot with a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, not feeling pressured, or like we had settled for anything, but gotten EXACTLY what we wanted.

I now recommend Courtesy Ford, and Dave, to anyone who is interested in buying a car.

I shopped all over town on the internet and by phone. Most places could not, or, would not give me the information I was looking for. One call to Courtesy changed all that. The sales manager who answered my call gave me straight information right away. The price was great. I was done shopping and my daughter had her new car that same day.
Super happy!!!

Well I would not recommend this company even though my roommate works there. I went to buy a NEW 2010 Ford Transit Connect, they knew up front that I had a bankruptcy, , so they worked a deal and got my financed, HOWEVER, it did not happen as they said. So I told them no deal, I would wait for my rating to improve. Next they asked if I could get a friend to co-sign, ok got one, they still could not find anyone to take the loan adn they checked 9 different agencies. Next I brought in my aunt, oh yeah, the interest rate went from 4.5% and $345 a month, to 9.9% and $ 375 a month, with my aunt as co-signer and an extra $1.000 down. so I left again. Now a month later they called again and this time we got it down to where I could afford it. Then the salesman did not take any time to sow all the ins and out of the vechile.

Took a freind in to check them out and both times they could not find a way to finance her, yet we went up the street about a mile and found what she wanted and in the monthly amount she could afford and this was on the same day!! Then things got tight finacially for my friend and she needed to downsize, went back again because of the roommate. Found a car started the papers
and told them she would come back the next day to finish off everything. They sold the car but no one bothered dto call her and tell her. She we sat in the dealership for two hours waiting for someone to find this car, and the mamager went to lunch during this time. So again I took her to another dealership and that same day she was able to get what she wanted in a timely matter. As was the saleman assisting my roommate unprofessional as he never came back to tell my friend anything but went on break.

I have a story about this place. I had been looking for a car for several weeks before I left for school in California. I wanted one that would be fairly fuel efficient, carry around all my camping stuff, and some people. Basically, I wanted a Subaru, but I was open to any station wagon. After several annoying experiences at other dealerships alone, I came to this one with my dad.

The salesman listened to what we wanted and our price range, and found us a ford focus wagon. I was pretty rough with it on the test drive, but he didn??t mind. Frankly, he didn??t seem to care too much whether or not we bought the car; he just wanted to know if he could provide us with a good fit. He was pretty inflexible on the price, which was maybe a bit above the Kelly bluebook. Still, we decided to get the car and a basic warranty, with the deal (not put into writing) that if I wasn??t satisfied after my mechanic checked it out I could get a full refund.

So, I took it to Tom Dwire automotive, and their thorough mechanics found a lot of problems: the battery seemed near dead, the power steering pump was damaged, the wheels seemed misaligned, and there was body damage (not reported on the Carfax I received at Courtesy Ford, nor on the Carfax I double checked online) that prevented the hood and hatchback from sealing properly.

Shocked, I went back to try and get my refund. Far from laughing me out of the office, I was directed to the sales manager. He told me that if I wanted a full refund he could do that, but, rather than have me leave bitter, he wanted to make me happy.

Long story short, he put the car in the shop there, and they replaced the battery and the power steering pump, realigned the wheels, and did what they could to fix the body damage. For FREE. And did I mention they upgraded the warranty on it to the best they could get from Ford, as a courtesy from the sales team to me for my trouble? And, since my car was in the shop, they gave me a 2008 Ford Fusion as a loaner until my car was fixed.

When they finally said it was done, I took a look at it, and they answered all of my questions very patiently. It turned out that they hadn??t fixed the hatchback the first go round, but regardless, I had my car back in about a week. Not bad for a used car sale!!

To sum up, I believe that the philosophy behind this car dealership is different than most. Rather than trying to make the biggest sale they can, and twisting your arm to do it, they want to make you a happy, life-long customer, because they??ll make more money from you that way. ;) The calls I received a few weeks and then a few months later from my salesman just to make sure that my car was running well seem to prove this. They weren??t solicitation, just: ??Hey, it??s been a while: how is your car doing??

So, did they make a lifelong customer out of me? You bet. Unless they screw up in the future. ;)

Phil is the best diesel mechanic around. Top notch and knows these engines like the back of his hand!! Every time myself or other friends have had issues or just trying to learn about preventive maintenance; he has been very helpful in answering questions and doing what it takes to get the job done right and in a timely fashion.

Courtesy Ford sold me a 04 Jeep Wrangler for 18K that they claimed had gone through a check by the service department and that it was "a clean jeep" in "great shape". Less than 2 weeks later I am now replacing the front and rear drive shafts because they literally fell out. I am going to have to get the exhaust, brakes and probably clutch all replaced as well. Since I have had this car, I have been unable to drive it and have put less than 1K miles on it. All of this for a vehicle they claimed to have "thoroughly checked". The car is a lemon, is unsafe, and may even be a salvaged vehicle (I am checking on that today).

Mathew the sales man told me he had sold Jeeps for 7 years before working at the Ford dealer, and this was one of the nicest jeeps he had seen. While test driving I noticed a vibration and he said "Wow you can really feel those tires grabbing". No Mathew, that was the drive line vibrating because of the extreme angle it was in. When lifting a truck like that you need to use a SYE and get a longer drive shaft. Otherwise its NOT SAFE! It will fall out and if your at freeway speeds it may cause you to roll. Ask me how I know this? I am sure you know this, every other jeep sales person I have since spoke with told me this.

Courtesy Ford wont even return my call's so I am going this route and will soon be out there protesting. They may be fine, if you get a good deal, and your buying a BRAND NEW Ford, because they can't screw that up, its a new car. But do NOT buy a used car from them. Do NOT believe the lies that the sales staff spreads. DO NOT got to Courtesy Ford. They will rip you off!

Respectful treatment by sales person Dave Townley and his internet boss, one attempt to get me into a more expensive car than I could afford and then no more. Realistic approach to selling. These folks provided me with the info I needed, let me drive the car I wanted, let me know when new ones arrived at the dealership, and in general made this one of the best shopping experiences I have had. No strong arming and changing sales people on me. By the way, the ford focus is a pretty neat car with great gas mileage.

I bought my car from Courtesy Ford in December 2006. The car was used, but was also a 2006 (and still had low miles), and I was not only able to get in wayyyy under KBB pricing, but I also decided to get their Service Warranty package as well and the final price was still quite a bit under Blue Book. The whole transaction was great from beginning to end, and the negotiating stage was the easiest I've ever had. Over a year and a half later I've still had no problems with the car (other than typical sun-roof issues that they took care of for me, which was covered under my Warranty/Maintenance agreement). I get it serviced there regularly and the staff is awesome and they always deliver what they promise. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, it's the best experience I have ever had buying a car, and even after the sale they take care of you.

Unbelievable service. Their name "COURTESY- FORD" means just that. A+.They have met my goals to whatever I needed. I live in Hawaii and they helped me
every step of the way. Making the transaction smooth and very com-ford-ing (comforting). Even when I was wanting them to help me further from Hawaii over the
phone they were very COURTESY. I wish they had a dealer here in Hawaii that was helpful as these folks. All the way from June the Sales Rep. to Tyler the finance
manger to John the Big Boss man, those folks were the Best. The first review posted I did not,see any of that. I thought they had more than enough inventory!!!
Much more than I wanted to see. I will recommend them to all my friends and family. I am looking forward to another sale with them.
Thank you, folks at COURTESY FORD!
Sincerely,
George

The worst car buying experience ever. Issues included miscalculating my payoff from a vehicle leased through them, delays in receiving a promised payment from them to offset the turned in lease, screwed up the license fees resulting in extra money out of my pocket. They have a small inventory, crowded lot and really don't seem to care if you come back again or not.

These people are really really tough negotiators. They make you feel sorry for the dealership when infact the dealership should feel sorry for customers and all the money they are dishing out to their company. I just bought a used car from them, at first they told me they would only lower it $100 but in the end i got them to lower it by almost $500. You have to be a hard sell, be strait forward, and stern and you will get what you want. Overall they are alright, all car sales men are full off non-sence but just keep in mind you hold all the cards. You can say the deal is a "GO" or a "NO". BE TOUGH

I had a car with an ongoing problem for over 18 months. When my small shop mechanic could not find the problem, I took it to the dealership. I was treated well enough...except they never found the problem. I spent thousands of dollars, many trips (and accompanying disruptions to my life) all for nothing. A few weeks after I sold the car I found out what the problem was - a ground wire. Ok, so mechanics aren?t psychic, but this was in a service bulletin to the dealership 3 months before my car first went in and no one in the next two years even suggested this simple and cheap fix.

We took our used Ford Taurus here for some repairs a few weeks ago. I'm happy that they have a free van service, and friendly employees. I'm not happy that we had to take the car back for something else two weeks later. The prices were pretty reasonable, and they threw in a few things for free. I would go there again.

PROS: Nice people
CONS: Didn't catch everything
