I brought my dog to this clinic for removal of a weed in her ear,the vet came back after the exam, with some hair and part of a fox tail.I brought my dog home and she never stopped shakking her head.I called the clinic to be told it was normal for her to shake her head.I waited one day and brought her back since she looked very uncomfortable, the vet checked her ear and did not find anything. My dog never stopped shakking her head, and I was told again it was to be expected she would skake her head ,the third day we had to bring her to emergency to another clinic, and the rest of the fox tail was then found. This was last year, this year I brought her to the same clinic with a different vet.to have her ears clean only,I made it very clear to the receptionist and the vet that she did not need an exam, and was not informed of the contrary. I was told previously by a vet at the same clinic that this service could be done without an exam. When time came to pay,I was informed that the fee for a full exam was added to her ear cleaning .I was very upset, and after talking to several people about this matter I was still charge a partial fee. What was supposed to be $18 ,cost me $41.

My parents used to take their animals to Wilsonville vet due to geographical convenience and as a default my family has taken our dog to Wilsonville Vet also. Not only have my parents been extremely frustrated with the staff being rude, continuously long waits (more than 45 minutes every time) but my family is now just as frustrated with the same issues. I have now realized through speaking with many other clients of Wilsonville Vet that the long waits seem to be a normal occurrence which is NOT normal for other clinics. The staff seem to have a complete lack of concern for their clients?? time and seem to not realize how anxious it makes people and animals to wait such long periods of time for a simple exam. We have finally decided to change veterinarian clinics even after attempting to push through our frustrations. They are certainly not cheaper or more convenient for us at this point and isn??t worth the hassle and annoyance of being treated like garbage.

Excellent facility and Dr. Nuijens is the best vet I've ever been to. He is so caring and so knowledgeable. He researched on his own time for hours and found a new heart drug for our dog that even the board certified veterinary cardiologist we'd taken him to at another facility hadn't heard of yet (it was brand new). I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nuijens.

I've referred at least 5 families to this vet because the docs really care. My dog needed emergency surgery and because it was so late in the day, it would have been difficult to transfer him to a hospital for the supervision he needed. The doctor lives close to the clinic and came to check on him throughout the night. She treated my dog as though it was her own. Although my dog isn't crazy about going to the vet, he is immediately happy when he sees the docs. They provide excellent, affordable care - with an emphasis on "CARE."

Knowledgeable veterinarians and staff, and they really care about their patients. The prices are also reasonable. Another quality veterinary facility.

I have been to many vets in Oregon, but none of them seemed to care so little for my family and their feelings during such a hard time. My dog had to be put down, and due to complications it needed to be done sooner rather than later. My family had this little guy for 10+ years and he was loved by everyone. When we arrived to the office we were shuffled back to a cold and hospital like room with a metal table to sit him on. NOT ONCE were we asked if we needed anything as each member of my family was in tears. What we were asked how ever.... is if we were going to be paying for the procedure NOW OR LATER? Are you kidding me? Who asks that when you are in a situation like that? This clinic apparently!

They were more concerned with getting their money than to make sure my family was ok, as we were saying goodbye to a best friend. This was the first time we have had to put down a dog, and we had no idea what to do or expect. We were told that he would fall asleep and pass and that it was painless. What we weren't told, is that he would gasp as he past, and then later take a big breathe out 30 seconds after he was dead, lose bowl control ect... NOT OK. How hard is it to explain to us what is going to happen? In a vet clinic, this is the one procedure that you need to NAIL DOWN. This has to be the one thing you do 100%. This clinic did it terribly, with the only thing done right as the injection. I will NEVER, EVER send another animal to this clinic as long as I live in the state, and I strongly recommend that you check them out before you are forced to go through something as horrible and traumatic as my family had to. This clinic is in dire need of re-vamping its customer service and client care levels. Sub par doesn't even begin to describe it.

Pros: Location off of I-5 is ideal

Cons: Office staff is only concearned with your money

Finally veterinarians that care about animals and are smart enough to make a correct diagnosis the first time without bringing your family member and you back in multiple times. Their staff were kind and prompt. They exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them.

Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic has taken car of our toy poodle since she was a puppy. They have recently remodeled and now have a dog entrance and a cat entrance. The clinic is clean and the staff is kind to our dog.
