So I gave this place a second try...this time I had to bring my son because I can't afford daycare just to go shop, and typically this place is closed when my husband works. And no, I don't have friends who can watch him. I went in and for the most part he was good but he got a little fussy becuase he got hungry. I tried to just quietly breast feed in their rest room and while I realize the clerk didn't mean to be insensitive, she stated that if he didn't calm down, I would have to leave. I've never felt so insulted. I've gone to high level chain stores and they've been more patient than she was. Maybe she isn't used to children, but that isn't an excuse to be insensitive to another woman.

Savvy rocks totally, great staff, great stuff! lots of selection in casual, formal and business clothing, gorgeous jewelery and a relaxed patron friendly environment.

No matter what type of review you read here, Savvy's is one of the best resale stores in town, catering to the larger woman. Items available are a varied selection from beaded pants to classic suits. At times you can get a steal of a deal and other times you pay for quality, so either way, you find a steal of a deal. The Owner is a wonderful, sweet gal who know her stuff. She has such a flair for helping you find just what you need. Any ladies over 12 visit Savvy's on Hawthorne..... you will not have any complaints! :-)

Savvy Plus is a Fit Girl Heaven!! Gaia, the owner is personable and very helpful. She is choosy in the clothing that she picks and the quality there is very good. She has been very helpful to my students that are plus sized, giving them LARGE discounts on clothing to find employment.

I've had mixed experiences here.I haven't found lots of great deals.It's a small shop-nice owner.She is selective about what she takes in and everything seems to be in good shape.Mostly natural fiber clothing.Items go on sale by tag color.She also has some jewelry in the shop.I think it's a matter of luck,when you go in and what she has taken in that week.Keep checking back.There is parking on the street,not hard to find.Some nice shops in this block to check out.
