Alright, this is the first time I have ever seen Les Schwab service techs not run, more importantly. Failed to follow the work order. I just walked to check to see if the tech was working on the correctg tire and what did I find but he had started working on the wrong tire. Then he said the work order was wrong. I was thinking..really what is wrong with this business process. Slow service failed to follow direction and on the upsell for tires they went way over board. I hope the manager at this store reads this...

Robert 503_928_0657 I would love to talk about your stores experience.

I've been going here for years and have always received superb service. I just recently had a flat tire and they took care of it quickly with no charge. I'll keep going back!

I purchased a set of Formoza FD-1 tires from this dealer and thought this was going to be a good deal with the warranty, free flat repair, tire rotations, and numerous locations. I had my Ford Focus tires rotated every 3000 miles along with oil changes at the nearby oil change place. I got a free flat repair at about 4000 miles, which was good. In my last visit at 12,000 miles they said two of the tires were worn out and needed to be replaced, but they were not going to be replaced under the 30,000 mile warranty because they had not worn evenly due to an alignment problem. I explained that I was told that the alignment was checked when I got new tires and checked each time I had come in for rotations and was always told that; "the alignment was good". I was then told that the only way to properly check the alignment was to put it on the rack and check it accurately and that uneven tire wear was only an indication that there may be an alignment problem and that I should have had the alignment properly checked every six months. I asked why they had not suggested that I have a proper alignment check one of the four times I had been in the past nine months, and they responded that I would had to ask for one based on the uneven wear. I found this logic very frustrating since they were the people that were doing the inspections and providing service and they had not notified me of the alignment problem. Given this logic, it seems to me that they would always have a way to deny tread wear warranty service. Also, given that the last 3000 miles were a freeway drive down to Phoenix and back and that the worn tires were in the rear, they should have noticed the wear pattern at the previous visual wear inspection when the tires were in the front. I smell a rat.

On two occasions, I have had wonderful and helpful service. Upon one visit I found that one of my tires was in such bad shape, my whole car was wobbling. Even though I had very little money at the time, an employee made sure I was able to leave with a quality and affordable tire. My second visit brought me in with a flat for which I was charged nothing to patch. Great!

Had an emergency tire situation and they fit me in immediately. They were friendly and quick, and showed me all my pricing options. I never felt they were "talking down" to me. They also have a waiting area that isn't posh, but sufficient. There are lots of places to grab a meal nearby while you wait for your tires.
