Desert Valley Equine Ctr

Tim Phillips has been our vet for over eight years. He is absolutely, in our opinion, the most thorough, knowledgeable horse vet we've ever known. He's done several prepurchase exams for us, each one of which is more complete than we've seen done by other vets. This guy knows his stuff, and he makes sure you know what he knows, so you can make an informed decision prior to your purchase. He's professional, on time (or you get a call to let you know what's keeping him and when he'll arrive), and dedicated. The only kind of horse person that might not want him around is a seller that's trying to hide something from you. It's hard to pull anything on Dr. Phillps. You can trust this guy. Tim Phillips DVM, is a transplant from the Portland area. He is a very good diagnostician when it comes to leg injuries on horses. I personally feel he is one of the best. Now he has a great facility here in Central Oregon that specializes in reproduction. He has really done a thorough job. Mare care and foaling out..place is beautiful!. He still has a large varied practice and he is the best around when it comes to explaining the diagnosis and prognosis in regards to your horses.

PROS: smart, thorough, diplomatic and caring...good vet work
