There is nothing here you couldn't make yourself at home cheaper, but that's the whole point! Good old fashioned home cookin' made just for you! Service is always fantastic too! They are always friendly. The prices are OK. It's not super cheap but definitely not expensive, and well worth the price. Even though I live an hour away, I make a special trip here about once a month just to get my fix! They are open for breakfast and lunch until 2pm. I usually go at lunchtime and order breakfast. I recommend going on a weekday, they are less crowded. They can get busy on weekends!

It is a humble place, but it is old school in the goodness it serves up for breakfast! I love the food, and that is what you are there to get, more than the atmosphere. It could use a little dressing up in terms of decor, but the bacon and eggs and biscuits and gravy are never going to let you down.

I grew up just down the street from this tiny diner and will now get up early on the weekends to make the treck across town to get it. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, Linda, the owner, is practically a member of my extended family. The food is amazing and the biscuits and gravy are just simply amazing. I was honestly shocked when I grew up and found out that no, not everybody has their own amazing little breakfast place, like Prescott Cafe. Now, whenever I can I take friends, family, anybody. The food is just THAT GOOD!!!

This is where you go when you want to relax, and have some really great home cooking. You seat yourself and are never rushed. Do not worry about your coffee getting cold or beverage being empty. Once you have ordered the food is home cooking at its best- fast- hot/cold- and delicious. Never been a dissatisfied customer.
One downside- bring cash- no debit/credit cards or checks accepted. But don' let that stop you or you will be sorry.

I live a few blocks from the Prescott Cafe and it's one of my favorite stops for breakfast. Their omeletes are wonderful, their hash browns are made from fresh potatoes, and everything from the menu is served up with a smile at a reasonable price.

It's also fun stepping inside; this a true, old fashioned cafe diner (like a time warp to 1958). The restaurant is also impeccably clean. It's a great place, somewhat off the beaten track, for breakfast or lunch. If you're looking for homestyle food, it's the best.
