I had very positive experience the first time I used Jim. I was quoted $65, he gave me my electronics back and I paid $65.

The next time I used Jim's service, he quoted me $45, then called back and said it would be another $100 to get my item fixed. Even though the item only costs $100...They basically stole $45 from me.

Bait and switch fraud. Avoid.

Our 4 month old panasonic tv has been there for over 5 weeks. They will not return calls and apparently have done nothing to fix it. DO NOT take your tv to this place- unless you are willing to be totally frustrated with a total lack of service or omg- try to get a repair!!!

My new Panasonic TV needed a firmware update, but it would not load. I gave Jim's detailed instructions about the problem and the sequence of steps I had taken during 9 weeks of interactions with Panasonic tech support. When I went to pick up the TV, the tech did not know about the firmware problem or the update, and had made no attempt to install it. He had replaced a board and didn't test the TV at all. I took it home and installed the update myself. Never again for Jim's.

We have tried using Jim's Electronics twice, with negative experiences both times. The only reason we went back the second time was because we had friends that had a good experience and we thought we'd try again. In our experience, both times the customer service was terrible (unfriendly people), and the second time we were told our item would be looked at within a couple of days for a diagnosis with a phone call to let us know, and after a week my husband went back in to check on it, and it had not been touched. We will not go there again.

I have had my video camera worked on at Jim??s. They gave me a quick and fast estimate to fix my camera. I was very happy with how I was treated and the repair was done to my satisfaction. Great Place to get you're electronic items repaired.
