My 13 pound American Eskimo and I were attacked by a Rottweiler...he had many punctures on his hind quarters. He had many staples put in place and drain tubes put in a total of 3 surgeries. This Vet Clinic has been nothing less then amazing. They eagerly answer all my phone calls and give me updates as often as I want and need. They are keeping it as economic as possible and that I am greatful for because I am a student @ Western Oregon University. I am thankful for everything they are doing and giving my pup another shot at life! I pick him up tomorrow and expecting to send lots of TLC his way!! This place is Awesome!!!!! Thank you greatly!

I give these people the highest rating possible. My vet gave me their number in case I ever needed emergency care after hours - which I did. My dog was attacked by another dog in doggie day care. It was bit in the face. It was too late to bring her to the vet for the day. The lacerations to the eyes were visible at the edges of the eyes. However, the lacerations on the eye balls were not visible. The Tualatin Emergency Clinic did the ink tests and could see that the corneas were badly lacerated. I was able to get antibiotics and ointments. I found the doctor and staff to be very prompt, competent and caring. What I learned from this is that if you ever suspect your dog has an eye injury - even if it is not visible - go in immediately before infection can set in. My dog's eyes were saved. We treated it early enough, as well, so that there was no scaring. I give these people 100 million gold stars!!

The worst service ever experienced. Very minimal explanation and rough physical exam. They gave me a bunch of medication to take home but again, no explation on what the medication is for. I had to keep asking them all these questions while they were busy trying to process the payment. My cat's condition was not getting better so I went to DoveLewis next day. Dovelewis was very professional and passionate. They explained every detail of treatments and possible options for payment. They were extremely caring and professional. They even get me print out information of medication I got from Tualatin emergency clinic did not even care to explain to me. I just wish I went to Dovelewis first.

These guys are the best. They do not believe in keeping your pet any longer than necessary and therefore they save you money. They would rather stabilize the situation and let your vet who knows your pet best, provide the follow-up care. Other emergency clinics in town, keep your animal as long as possible to help pay their bills.

This vet clinic is conveniently located near I-5. They are always open for emergencies. Not only are they staffed with their regular vets, but also have local vets moonlighting here.
It's good to know you always have an emergency room available for your beloved pets.
5When our little Yorkie had a reaction to his pain meds he got from his regular Vet his doctor didn't want to hear it and told me I was lucky we even got pain meds for him. We were appalled and still needed to do something about our baby who was pacing and crying after his neuter operation. The doctor at the hospital took a look at the med bottle and right away gave Benny a shot that calmed him down so he could sleep. We went home with good meds and a happy baby. I know sometimes it's hard to get the money together but when you need a hospital that cares this is a good one to go to.

I called many places to find someone who could help me and this was the only one willing. They were great my cat had been in a fight with a racoon, so we thought and had been hurt pretty badly. We needed someone to see him right away. He had to have surgery and stayed here for a few days! He was always an outdoor cat and not to big on people besides us. He took a real liking to the staff here! They did a wonderful job! A little spendy but well worth it!
PROS: Nice caring people
CONS: Spendier

I had a pet emergency between paychecks, and desperately needed to take him in to see a vet. When I called this vet, they refused to help me because I couldn't pay the full price right away. I know this is normal, but they were incredibly rude over the phone towards me as soon as they learned that I didn't have funds at that moment (even though I would have been able to pay them in full shortly thereafter). My cat died when they couldn't help me. If you want to use this business be sure you have a lot of cash in savings or a credit card available to do it.
