(Note, this is no longer Beaches. I wouldn't judge Ruby Tuesday by the Beaches comments even though the comments were good.)

One of my favorite restaurants. Great steaks. Wonderful variety of hamburgers (including sliders and buffalo burgers). Good salad bar although fairly typical items. Rustic atmosphere, friendly staff, manager on duty makes frequent rounds to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. Nice patio overlooking a large pond...as long as you don't mind the occasional duck walking around begging for food. :) Even though they're always busy we've never had an exceptionally long wait to get a table or to get our food.

Stay Away from Beaches in Beaverton. The only positive thing was our wonderful waitress. Shocking was that they bring small children (3 and 4 yrs) HOT plates and tell them to be careful - now come on! They also took the children to watch their Sundaes being made - without asking if they could - across a crowded room to a place where we could not see them. It was only a few minutes but it was definitely a few uncomfortable minutes. Also the food was WELL below average. I will never go back.

This place not only has good food, but it's also a fun place to eat. They also have good drinks! The service has always been great whenever I've eaten there...go there on your birthday and spin the dessert wheel! :-)

Beaches has an inviting theme and the decor makes you feel like you are taking a walk along the sandy shores of the Pacific. Even the restrooms continue the theme. The limited menu offers up a delicious variety of meals, but if you are looking for a lot of seafood, this isn't the place for you. Parking is a bit crowded, but not too bad. Overall this is a great restaurant.

Pros: Awesome food

Cons: Price

Beaches has the best food in Beaverton. They have a variety of seafood and nonseafood items. The setting is cute and the sound of the surf and gulls can be heard as you enter the restaurant. If you call ahead for reservations they will add special touches that are one of a kind. If it's someone's anniversary the menus will have the couples names on top and "Happy # of years Anniversary." It really adds to a special night. The service is great, the food is great, the atmosphere is great. What more could you ask for?

We came on a Thursday for dinner we got here at 5:30 and it was pretty empty, when we left it was packed. So come early. But anyway, the menu was pretty varied, not all seafood. We would have liked more seafood options, but didn't have problems choosing something. We had the seafood fettucini and crabcakes, I liked both but my husband didn't like the crabcakes. He said he didn't like the texture though, so as long as you like crabcakes, there shouldn't be a problem. The service was super friendly, not only was our waiter nice, but everyone we walked past or walked past us made sure to say hello (almost to the point where you're sure it's a policy and the waiters are sure they're being watched to make sure they say hello. It's almost overkill...). But overall it was very nice and definitely worth the money.

Cons: a little too nice, limited parking

Today I had lunch at Beaches in Beaverton and was really impressed with their homemade seasoned fries, but especially impressed by their crabcake open face sandwhich. The service Michelle was very friendly and energetic too. The food came quick. This place has a neat location on a manmade lake. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pros: Crabcake and fries, Service, Variety and ambiance

If you like being ignored, eating your meal with no beverage and spending $40 on $20 worth of food, then this is the place for you. Consider yourself warned.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday night. After waiting at the hostess station for several minutes without so much as a hello, we went and sat in the bar in frustration.

I ordered a gin martini when we were finally received service. The martini was awful; it tasted like water. I sent it back. My date's Long Island was also poor.

They have a good selection of food although slightly high in price. Seafood entrees run between $16 and $24.

The decor is the typical gimmicky chain restaurant style.

The entrees came out quickly, but they still hadn't brought my soup! I didn't get the soup until several minutes afterwards.

The quality of my entree was good. Not great, but good.

The waitress forgot to bring us water when asked. She had to be reminded 10 minutes later.

It suffices to say that we will not be dining here again!

I live in Salem so anytime I am near Beaverton I go eat at Beaches. It is by far the best place for service and quality of food ever! The prices are good for what you get. I always get the Greek Chicken which melts in your mouth and bursts with so much flavour.. I also cna't help but treat myself to a side of the blacked tiger basil prawns! HEAVEN! For desert make sure you leave room for some B52 cake it is soooooooooooo yummy! You wont be dissapointed if you go... try a night other than a fri, sat or sun if you want it quiet or if you do go one of these nights making a reservation will help :) I love sitting outside on the patio in the Summer to eat and look out at the fountian and the duck pond! :)

The food is always consistant and very good. But I've got to say, their Almond Rocha ice cream, which is served in an almond toffee bowl is the best. Every time we go there, that's what we have for dessert, and I crave the ice cream for at least a week after. It is the best I have ever had anywhere!

A great place to eat, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and look at the duck pond in the evening twilight. You MUST try the beachhouse salad. It's different and interesting. Many choices, friendly service, and the waitstaff usually offers suggestions as to what is especially good. Price is decent. Don't plan on eating in the bar..it's usually packed and LOUD! Have had lunch and dinner, both enjoyable. Fun place to enjoy the evening!
