Sylvie Day Spa & Salon

It's really a sad story of me spending my hard earned money at such an awful place. What I know is this, the owner is aware of how unhappy her staff is that they have nothing but horrible things to say about her and each other! I can't imagine what they say about the customers! And she is okay with this?! My girl friend was in town from LA and we thought a day of pampering would be lovely. The service was okay. Unfortunately my friend had a facial by a girl who couldn't wait to quit so she could move back to Vegas and start her life over. She was so bad, she forgot to put on the mask during the treatment. I had been in there to get a specialty facial in February and the wonderful lady who gave me my facial was superb at her job. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. And when it came to our pedicures, we just wanted to leave. That's when we over-heard gossip with-in the spa. I'm sorry but this place has some screws loose. She needs to fire and re-hire!

The Sylvie workers are so friendly and chatted with me as I waited for a relaxing pedicure. They helped me pick out some hair products and makeup to purchase and even applied a bit of the makeup on me as I waited. The pedicure was so pampering and everything I could wish for. The only downfall was the horrible parking situation, I went during the weekday before downtown business hours were over so on street parking at the curbs was so difficult. I ended up blocks away after many times around the one-way streets of this difficult area to drive.

PROS: great products, pampering and great staff
CONS: leave lots of time to park

I received a gift certificate from co-workers toward services at Sylvie Day Spa. The massage service was fantastic, but the customer service at the front desk was not as good. The girl who was at the front desk first said I owed one thing, then said another. I paid and left, then the next day I received a phone call from Sylvie's manager telling me I needed to come in that day and pay them an additional $35. I hope they've since gotten someone at the front desk who can add and subtract correctly, because it's highly inconvenient for customers to have to rearrange their schedules to accomodate employee errors.

I've had a few pedicures at Sylvie and I always leave feeling as if I was royalty.

Have a glass of wine while the pedicurist massages away any stress or pain you little tootsies have been feeling. The sugar scrub leaves your skin feeling soft and refresed and your toes have never been prettier.

Ask the staff for resutaurant recomendations, they always know the best local places!

The cost is a bit higher then the little whole in the wall place, but it's worth every penny.
