The first thing you notice is the smell. All the different types of oil and incense blend together to make something really special. You can't help but let out a happy sigh as you walk in. It's instantly calming. Everyone there is wonderful, friendly, and helpful. As long as there are places like this the internet will never replace in person shopping.

When I walked in people were getting their palms read, Taro cards read and incense was burning in the background. The people are very friendly and happy to explain anything. If you don't believe what they do no problem.
They carry a nice selection of books, incense, crystals, various types of Taro cards, beautiful statues and an endless supply of herbs for what ails you.
Also one of the few stores around that carry music by local artists. They even have a local keyboard player that comes in twice a month. He plays a beautiful type of blues/jazz. Chairs are sitting out so anyone who comes along can sit down and enjoy the surroundings.

PROS: Pleasant surrounds, relaxing music, nice people
CONS: Some people are put off by the mystic aspect & not a fair chance
