We are first time buyers at West Coast Appliance. In October 2012 West Coast was having a sale on appliances so on a Saturday morning my husband and I went into the store found and purchased new appliances. We upgraded our appliances thinking this would be perfect timing for the holidays.\n The following week the appliances were delivered and the appliances worked fine that first two weeks. After two weeks the microwave/vented hood that was recommended (also more expensive) did not work . The led panel does not operate properly, you can not see what settings to push as there is no lighted controls.. My husband discovered that by closing door several times the light would come back on suggesting a loose connection somewhere in wiring. We called service and were told that the microwave was probably not getting correct voltage, maybe house was to old. Well, the house is less than five years old and my husband has been an electrician for over 35 years. He checked anyway. Nope, not electrical problem. The next step was getting repairman out here. We were told several times that we would be charged for service call if there is not problem with microwave. This is the week prior to Thanksgiving and I am hopeful. Repairman arrives and immediately discovers that there is a problem with the microwave. He thinks it is control board, so he orders another. Thanksgiving comes and goes. The new part arrives along with the serviceman. This requires taking the door apart and getting into the wiring. After lenghty attempt the microwave still does not work. Okay, now it seems it must be wiring harness that needs to be repaired, so another is ordered. Christmas has come and gone and still no working microwave oven. \nToday we have waited from noon to five o'clock only to be told that unless my husband could help repairman take microwave down he may have to reschedule, which he had to do anyway because is was behind schedule.\nSeveral weeks ago I called West Coast Appliance asking that this microwave be replaced with one that works. What I was told was that exlectolux does not allow that, if after four different repairs they may replace it. We were told that maybe we would want to call electrolux directly. Well, if the folks at West Coast Appliance do not care if the appliances they sale don't work why would electrolux. \nI am also disappointed that once merchandise it is out the door you as a customer are not very important.\n

I visited your store for the first time this last saturday the 28th of may. I was in the market to buy a dryer.. That is when I met Romana. She is one fantastic Sales Consultant. Within 20 seconds of walking into your store, Ms. R walked up and introduced herself and asked if there was anything I might like to see or if I would like to walk around and see the store. I wound up buying a washer, a dryer, and a dishwasher. I haven't had a shopping experience like that in years. Not only was it very comfortable Ms. R was very well informed on your merchandise, and made the whole thing kind of exciting. I have received NO KIND of service like that in any other store in a long time. She not only made me satisfied customer, she has made me a long time customer. The next time I need a new appliance, and my stove is getting old, I know where I will Shop. You have a real professional there, I hope you realize it and compensate her appropriately, also I would highly recommend that all new sales reps be assigned to work with Ms. R for awhile so her kind of customer service gets passed on.

Anyway, it was out of warranty and completely dead. We tried to have it repaired unsuccessfully, and then we tried to get some compensation from Whirlpool for selling us a real lemon. Two authorized repairmen and Whirlpool National's technicians agreed it was unreparable.\nAfter several months (yes, really!) of unsuccessful and unpleasant negotiations with Whirlpool, we finally got fed up and went to the dealer, WC Appliance, to ask for help.\nThe owner, Carl, and the sales manager, whom you know, Robert , went to bat for us personally. They finally negotiated a reasonable buy-back deal with Whirlpool. \nJust wanted you to know that we appreciated WC Appliance, so you can tuck that away in your file when deciding who to send your clients to. We're very happy with our new Frigidaire and our 5&10 year warranty. Such peace of mind!\nHope you're well
