Both of my kids have gone to Wee Works and we've loved every minute of it. The teachers are very attentive, warm and loving to the children. There are so many wonderful activities that the children do every day, including walks outside to "visit the trees" and the park, creative art stations, etc. The other day there was a robot building table! Never a bored moment at Wee Works. We have truly felt like family there and have nothing but positive things to say about it. If you get a spot at Wee Works grab it and don't look back... your children will thrive there.

My daughter went through the Caterpillar classroom, and until we moved, I didn't fully appreciate it. The teachers are so incredible creative and child-centered. One of the things I loved the most was the art. None of this "Here's a xerox with a kite on it. Color it blue." Instead, the teachers would bring in natural materials from their yards... lilacs, twigs, etc. and the kids would sculpt with them using clay. Absolutely amazing! They use a really great approach to help kids work out their own problems, and value every child for who they are--not trying to make them into little robots. I really appreciated how my daughter learned her words to say things like "I don't feel like talking right now." If everyone used their philosophy on sharing and communicating your feelings, the world would be a better place. I can't recommend it more highly!

We have had a wonderful experience with Wee Works. My 4 year old daughter is in the butterfly classroom; she loves it and is learning a great deal. The focus is not particularly academic, but we are fine with that. They have a wide variety of activities and stations set up at all times (lots of creative, open-ended art, musical instruments, a reading corner, a writing table, a work bench with real tools, an indoor swing and climbing structure, a dress-up/make-believe/dramatic play area, a worm bin in the courtyard, class pets, large wooden building blocks... I could go on and on). They go to the park or an indoor gym every day, have picnic lunches, go for walks around the neighborhood, have daily story/circle time, provide excellent snacks, and have a gymnastics teacher, a librarian, and a music instructor who come in on a weekly basis. The teachers are so very loving, caring, and wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say.

The Caterpillar class was wonderful for both of our kids! Lot's of caring teachers and my children thrived. When each of them moved on to the Butterfly classroom (preschool) my children no longer loved going to Wee Works and were never excited about the things they were doing or learning. At first I thought it may have been my child, but when the second one had the same experience I knew it was the teacher. The lead teacher seems to lack enthusiasm for her work. I would recommend Wee Works for their Caterpillar Class and avoid the Butterfly class if you have children who need energy and enthusiasm in their environment.

This is a cute little preschool filled with tons of cute children. They are operating out of the old library and it is one big open space. At times the atmosphere could be described as chaotic, the children always seem to be having fun. They have a ratio of about 7 kids to every staff, which is low for the young age groups. Great location and cute building.
