Haircut and shampoo is about $30-$40, depending on who cuts your hair. I am super picky and have straight long hair so every cut shows. I love these stylist! They complete weekly training to stay on top of industry cutting trends and it shows. The quality of cut is way better than anyone else I have ever been to.

It's funny to read the other reviews on this board about Mojo Salon--they all say the same thing which I found totally true: it takes 4-5 hours to get your hair done, and the stylists work on a bunch of people at the same time. This is just purely unacceptable. The last time I was there (and it will be a last time!) they left chemical in my hair for over an hour. Finally someone came by and asked if I was supposed to have it washed out, and I said I don't know, my stylist left!! They used to offer lattes but now when you ask for one they never bring it. This salon deserves to be reported to the BBB for terrible service.

I commented to a friend that her her hair looked cute (both cut and color) and asked where she got it done. She told me Mojo's, but that she wouldn't go back because she was there for hours. I was looking for a new hairstylist so thought I would give it a try. I like getting pampered and am not usually in a big rush. I really liked it the first few times. They offer you a latte and I felt pampered. It did take several hours for a cut and color though, and was pretty pricey. I had the same experience with both the owner, Greg, and his partner (another guy). The last time was the last straw though. I was there for FIVE hours. They work people in and do several at the same time, so you sit and wait while they are working on someone else. I was left under a dryer with a sopping wet head, cold air blowing on me, and water running down my back getting my shirt all wet. No one came to check on me to see how I was doing. The cold air turned off after awhile, so then I was just sitting there ignored for over a half an hour. I was ready to get up and leave. I dont know if it's the chemicals used there or what, by now my hair is very damaged... brittle and breaking. Never had that problem before. I've heard similar stories now from several other people. I wont go back.
Also, (they dont have nail techs there anymore) I spluged and got a manicure one time while I was there waiting for the color to develop on my head (may as well since you sit around so long!) and it started to come off within 24 hours. (I dont think she got all the lotion off or something before she started to polish) I called to see what they'd do. I was hoping for a credit on my next visit or something. Nothing.

For Salem, this is a highly over-priced hair salon. It took the poorly qualified stylists 4 hours (yes, FOUR hours) to perform a weave and cut. After leaving chemical on my hair for too long and having the stylists change different clients during the haircut, they tried charging $135. You are better off finding a cheaper, better quality salon.
