I had the chance to visit solid rock while in the area about 6 times on sundays and wed nights.I am going on 40 and have grown up in church.
The teaching is bible based and very on pointe.I felt the lessons provide
a way to approach life as a spiritual doer.
I read a review today of a 19 year old boy that said the service was evil and manipulative.Maybe he is questioning religion or he is wrstling with a life of sin and the bible scares him.Either way the messages I have heard and the fellowship I was part of are a great example of Jesus Christ blessed body of believers.Glory and honor to the King of Kings.

My family has been attending Solid Rock consistently for 4 months. We love it!
No psychobabble, just straight Word of God teaching with hearty, relational stories that exude conviction that God's ways work & God is good. The contemporary worship songs express pure love and reverence of God along with the richness of hymns sometimes.
Always encouraging, compassionate, loving care is expressed from the leaders: True shepherds who want what's best for the people, not puffed-up, institutional-minded, program-orientated CEOs.
My family LOVES this church!

I am twenty three and have been going to Solid Rock Fellowship from its very beginnings. I attend The Way, their college group every Friday night because of the friendly people, amazing worship and to hear from the Word. Solid Rock is not perfect, no church is but I love it and respect it because the teaching is directly from the Word of God, the Bible. Pastor Phil and John Mark Comer are comitted to teaching the Word in truth whether popular or not. There is no fluff and tickling of ears only the Bible being taught from men who seek after God's own heart. It is not a place of brainwashing our youth as some may disappointingly think but a place where Truth is taught and practiced. I am so blessed to call this church my own and would encourage anyone who is looking to check it out and see for yourself. There you'll find Jesus.

Solid Rock is a great place to meet young folks, and make friends in the meantime.
Although my main purpose was to satisfy my hunger for spiritual food, and get a spiritual connection with the Lord in the meantime; after visiting, I felt spiritually empty and confused. I did not admit these feelings at the time to the friends that I had come with. I really wished I could put them into words.
I prayed to God; for Him to open up the reason of these questioning feelings that crept inside of myself and bothered me for a considerable long time. After receiving my answer from God, I was very thankful and felt relieved.
A few weeks later, while researching ??rock products? in my cubicle at work, I came across ??Solid Rock Fellowship, Inc.?. After clicking on the link at ??MapQuest? and reading a review, I instantly felt inspired to write one my self; and here I am guilty as charged, doing something completely non work related.
I've visited Solid Rock once. I was told good things from other acquaintances of ??Solid Rock?. I went there with a small group of friends looking forward somewhat positively toward this visit I was making. I was expecting a church service with Gospel teaching; instead, I later realized that I had witnessed a massive media brain washing process in session (too much to explain in typing at the moment); targeting our young generation.
I am only 19 years old my self; but quiet sadly; I have been witnessing this in a few other churches lately.
Although ??Solid Rock? on Friday evenings is a great place to meet a lot of other young people, I realized that somewhere, somehow, there is an evil plan in corrupting our minds, innocent or not.
Most if not all of the people coming to these services are young teenagers, seeking real spiritual food, thinking they are being fed not realizing they are being manipulated and poisoned.

I've visited a couple of times to Solid Rock Fellowship. They meet now in the cafeteria at Contestoga Middle school near the Beaverton Southridge High school. Contemporary, causal, rock and roll worship music, and a laid back atmosphere where you can come as you are...very refreshing in a town that is usually more formal for church on Sundays. I've always met a friendly face here, and the teaching is fun and easily digestible and applicable!

PROS: Family friendly...great worship!
CONS: Lighter messages may leave some wanting more depth
