Excellent no kill shelter. Cats are well cared for by friendly and professional staff. The shelter also has a large selection of cat-themed gifts for cats and humans alike! Their website has great information regarding their programs and includes adoption listings with photos.

I have been a volunteer for over 2 years and I have to say it is the best therapy you don't have to pay for. You walk in and these cats have been abused, neglected, and sometimes discarded and yet they still find it in their hearts to forgive humans. They have the most unconditional love that it is an un describable feeling, you walk into one of the 5 rooms and sit down, you'll have 4 or 5 cats come over and nudge you, jump in your lap, and just love you. If the rest of the world could learn just a little from these cats, there would be no war, no killing, and no hatred. If you have just a little time and want to something that will make you feel like you have truly done a good dead, stop by the shelter and volunteer, you will feel so good about it.

This is a great no kill animal shelter. They have a wonderful philosophy and are great to the animals. This is perfect option for someone interested in adopting a pet.

We recently adopted a cat from the Cat Adoption Team (CAT). What a wonderful experience. Just walking around the shelter, you know that these animals are well taken care of by the caring and friendly staff. They have several different rooms prospective parents can use to search out the right cat for them. What I loved best were the rooms where several cats were allowed to interact with each other. Seeing cats at play, in my opinion the best way to pick a healthy, interactive pet. Once you select a cat, you are taken into a private room to interact alone with that cat. This alone time allows you to make your final decision about whether this is the right pet for you. Throughout the whole process the staff is available to answer all your questions, they maintain extensive records on each animal and can give you detailed information about the personality of each cat. For a great pet, go to this great no kill shelter.

If you're in the market to adopt a furry little friend, CAT is the place to go. These people have sooo many cats. They are a no kill shelter, so you can imagine just how many cats they have that need a good home. There are tons of kittes to choose from. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. These people really love cats. Maybe a little too much.

This shelter is a little bit out of the way for pretty much everyone, but they are a no kill shelter and have wonderful volunteers. I brought a kitten in that we adopted but couldn't afford surgery on, and in exchange for signing him over to them, they did the surgery and saved his life. I'm forever grateful that this was done, and that he was able to find a wonderful home!

PROS: no kill shelter
CONS: a bit of a drive
