We moved to Bend a year ago....have given Merenda 4 or 5 opportunities to live up to the hype...NEVER HAS. The wait staff has been rude and not knowledgeable regarding wine or foods on menu. Have tried steaks, daily special dinner

My wife and I eat here on a regular basis and always find something attractive on the menu each time. Love their wine sampler values. Great service always and great food. A little over priced, but worth it. Solid fine dinning, always a pleasure. Highly recommend this place to any locals or visitors.

I have eaten here a couple times to find the wait staff unattentive and the wait for the food too long. Although we were there for a celebration, the meal took 3 hours. I have been unimpressed with the menu and found it hard to find things I would actually eat. I would only go if you have plenty of time.

I guess Im spoiled by Italien food in Portland and the Bay area....
but at these prices I would expect more.

Even having a reservation did not get us a preferred table....even though itwas uncrowded the staff did not seem well trained or polite.

We had to send both entre's back as they were cold.
Where are these positive reviews coming from???
No value and No Deal and quite a disappointment.
