The kid's that work at this location are always so friendly!! These days service with a smile is hard to find, so it's refreshing to come here.

I am a cheap person. This is not something I'm afraid to admit--you have to be when you're perpetually broke. But every once in a while even broke people deserve to have a bit of a break, and thats why Papa Murphy's is such a great deal. It's pizzeria-style pizza, with the simple twist of taking it home raw and cooking it yourself in your own oven. You run the risk of getting a burned pizza if you're careless, but that's definitely a risk I'm willing to take when I can get a large pizza for only $6, or bump it up to a family size for $8 and have lunch the next day too. The SE Hawthorne location is a good, clean (seeming) store, with abnormally enthusiastic employees, although one guy turned me away and made me walk back home to get my $2 off coupon when I forgot it once.
But that's the other great thing about Papa Murphys--they're wild about coupons. You get them in the mail, you get more when you buy pizzas, you get them in the newspaper--they really want you to save yourself a few bucks. And because the food is not actually cooked and served in the store, they accept food stamps as payment. All in all, it's pretty tasty food for a really reasonable price.
