What a horrible experience there today! My 4 year old wanted Tacos on the way home and this was the only place near my house that I could think of. Even though I never see anyone there or a car in the drivethrough I chanced it and went in anyway. The food was EXTREMELY overpriced and did not seem at all like the pictures that are advertising these tempting morsal of south of the border goodness. My daughter ate her taco (well maybe half) and was inquiring as to why toy she recieved was not like any of the ones on the picture that was displayed on the counter. She received a pait of sunglasses like you might find in a 99 cent store. Not exactly what you would expect, but hey. So apparantly they do not even have the other toys that are on display! And the owner was sitting there telling the employee what to say! Which was basically I could purchase a beach ball for the child if I would like, but he cannot take the glasses back and exchange them because it would be a health hazard!!!!! OMG! I wonder if he really thinks I am that stupid?
OH well, the power of the internet....I am sure nobody will read this and he will just quietly go out of business (hopefully soon) and I will rent the location and serve some really great tex mex! At an affordable price!
In the meantime, watch this idiot crumble and he can blame the economy.

The food is OK, much better than a Taco Bell. I've been to all area Taco Times, and this one is not quite up to par. However the service here is definitely below par for Taco Times in general. The manager is very annoying., always ordering employees around, rather rudely - which does not really add to your dining experience! I watched when an employee rang up a customer incorrectly, and when the manager had to fix the problem he announced loudly, "well, there goes my breaktime!" He is a total clod, and a spitting image of the guy on the movie, Fargo who pushes his one-time-partner through a giant wood chipper. Even though this Taco Time is near my office, I never go there any more because of him.
