Lowe's

I've actually had "service" people see I had a question, turn around and almost run away! They are all burnout, seem to be malcontents and unhappy, not helpful At. All. with unemployment so high in Oregon, there must be tons of experienced helpful people needing a job and happy to have one?

We bought an older place and had a lot of work ahead of us. We did the work ourselves with the help of family and friends.The first thing we did was get a Lowe's charge card. The second thing we did was buy a miter saw.We put in a floating floor in the kitchen, hall and bathroom. The living room and bedrooms got carpet. The bathroom got all new sink faucets and a counter top. The kitchen now has a new stove top, back splash, sink faucet and counter tops.Lowe's new low prices are great and the discounts we got when items where on sale made it even better. The employee's are very nice and knowledgeable. I'd shop Lowe's any day of the week.

This is a huge store. It has most of what you would need for home projects. My only problem is that some of the people dont know too much about the area they are incharge of.

I would so much rather drive to Sherwood to go to Home Depot than to shop at this Lowes. I can never seem to find what I'm looking for and as for asking the staff for help you would be better off asking my 2 year old. For example they sent my husband to the Hardware dept when he was looking for a glue gun. Since when do glue guns belong with the nuts and bolts. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has problems with them.

I prefer to shop at Wilco Farm Supply, Lumberman's or drive out to Home Depot other than Lowe's. Sure it's a huge home improvement store with everything you'd ever want to build or fix up your home, but each time I've gone in there, the service isn't very good. There aren't many people on the floor to find to ask for help and when you do find someone they may not know what they're talking about or unsure where to find things. I've never had this happen at a hardware or other home improvement store before. So try your luck, since they're the only big store for miles.
