We have gone to Aumsville clinic for several years and are so pleased with the clinic. Our springer needed surgery and all went well...what I was impressed with is the Doctor called me the next morning to see how pup was doing...that meant so much ...we highly recommend them ...all doctors are good and I feel they are very fair on pricing. We have 2 healthy dogs, thanks to their help and care.

OK, so we both own dachsunds and know the breed, and it is nice to know she understand their issues. She is so supportive and knowledgeable, really love her upbeat way with animals. Have been a great comfort to our family. You can find her at Aumsville Animal Clinic.

My English Springer Spaniel, hurt his leg, we thought it was bruised, come to find out he had a torn ACL (What, I never even thought that dogs could get this damage). After going to our normal vet in Salem and hearing that I would have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it, we started asking our friends who they normally go to and a few of them highly recommend Aumsville Animal Clinic. We went to visit them and WOW, we were impressed not only with the service, but doctor Stuart's knowledge and the final price no nickle and dimming you, all follow up visits were included in cost; less than half the cost of other quotes we received. Doctor Stuart said ACL is a common injury and that he does 2 or 3 ACL surgeries a week, I had no idea that dogs had this kind of injury.

Finishing up, I would recommend them for any type of animal visit and at least contact to get a quote on surgery if needed, I would go more ofter if I did not live a good 35 minutes away, but if I need animal surgery, they will be first on the call list. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, as well as supportive. My dog Maverick is as good as new, well almost (he needs to loose a few lbs) but that's another story.

In Closing A ++ recommendation.

I have had two bad experiences with this clinic. The first bad experience was with my cat Bozco. He had a urinary tract infection so we took him in to get it taken care of. When he finally came home, he still had part of the cathater stitched to him. It was horrible, we had to go back and have it removed. Then we took our beloved dog in to get her fixed and they called during work to tell us she never woke up. This was a healthy, active, happy dog and there was no sign of any pre-existing conditions in her blood work. The vet who called was short, if not rude to us and acted as if this type of thing happens all the time. The assistants were more compassionate. we tried asking about what had happened and they told us that our dog was very hyper (she was always hyper), and they had a hard time putting her under, then 20 minutes after surgery she stopped breathing. It sounds more like they messed up her aneteshia, but we cannot prove anything...

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR PET!!!

I take my dogs there for OFA X-rays. The prices are very reasonable, and the service top-notch. If I lived in that area, I would definitely use this as my primary veterinary facility.

Dr. Stewart at Aumsville Animal Clinic came
HIGHLY recommended to me by many breeder
friends who take their dogs for OFA x-rays.
The building may be small and older, but their
equipment is all new and up-to-date digital imaging,
with a staff that encourages non-anesthetized x-rays.
I really appreciate the time and care Dr Stewart took
while looking at my dog's hip & elbow x-rays, even
though I am not a regular client (it is nearly a 45 minute
drive). He clearly cares about the animals, and
seems to enjoy talking with clients who wish to learn.

We take our cat and dog to the Aumsville Animal Clinic. The vets there are wonderful, caring, informational people! The support staff also treat your pets with love. We have never felt like they are trying to get us to "pay more" for their services..and they only do what is needed so our pets can stay healthy and happy. Their prices are also extremely reasonable!
