We have brought our dogs to Ash Creek Animal Clinic for years and have appreciated the caring service that we have received.I have never felt that they tried to sell me on unnecessary treatment. They discussed the pros and cons of Heartworm prevention, for instance, without any pressure. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Extortion comes to mind when dealing with this clinic. I was taken for $250.00 for an exam, two blood tests-which weren't needed-and was given dated medication. My cat had conjunctivitis and upper respiratory infection. Common illnesses that are routinely treated. Dr. Laura said I needed to have a test done to determine if the conjunctivitis was bacterial or viral $55.00. (Another vet told me that cat conjunctivitis is viral and dog conjunctivitis is bacterial) Dr. Laura Archer came back with the test results and told me that my cats red blood cell count was low, that my cat probably had leukemia and if he did, all my cats would have leukemia. (She could have said that infections also can cause red blood cell counts to be low) So, I had the test done, $45.00, which came back negative. I had told her that my cats were tested for leukemia at the rescue I bought them from, she proceeded to tell me that no rescue tests for leukemia because it is too expensive. My rescue tests before adoption, as I told her. Treatment was given for the conjunctivitis, but not the uppper respiratory infection. The eye ointment was $25.00 per tube and I ended up buying three tubes because she said all my cats would come down with conjunctivitis, only two did. The medication was dated the day I bought it-Dr. Laura said the company who manufactured the med. dated the product wrong and it was still effective. (Her office crossed out the expiration date on one tube, but the other two tubes had the expiration date as the day I purchased the medication. I treated my cats for over a month with the medication, and they still have conjunctivitis. I am going to have to go to another vet and get more medication and pay more money for another exam. So, needless to say, I am unsatisfied with this clinic.

A great place to take your animals and know that you are getting top quality service. They have a love for their job and it shows, Never feel rushed in and out and know they will take care of you pooch. Clean and sanitary place. Doesn't smell like animals when you arrive. Nice staff.
