We purchased an outdoor fire pit on June 12 . Part of the selling point of the sales person was that we could call the 4th of July weekend for a credit of at least 10% because they would be having their annual sale and we would be in the 30 day pricing period. So we took the bait and purchased the fire pit for $1895. We called for the adjustment and were told at first she had under-priced the glass stone by $25.00 on our invoice and that the fire pit had only gone down about $85. Then she asked if she could call me back. When she called back she said it wasn't on sale and that she wouldn't charge us the extra $25.00 for the glass. The lesson we learned is don't believe what they tell you and you we won't shop here again.

All of my experiences with Fishel's have been positive. When I call or go into the store (on MLK), the staff members are always very nice. Jayne Kirk is the sales person I work with. She knows everything there is to know about her

First of all I was amazed at the showrooms beautiful Contemporary furniture selection. The Sales staff was very courteous upon arrival through the showroom floors I enjoyed the fact that I could shop for high end in style patio for my back deck and put a few indoor pieces into my living room I love my new Natuzzi leather sofa and my stressless chair and ottoman I look forward to getting an accent rug soon thank you Fishels for a great experience. I rate this experience to have been very satisfiying at the downtown store Great service from the Delivery guys too.

Fishels has a nice selection of upscale outdoor furniture. BEWARE! Once you order and they take your money, the customer service stops there!!! Don't expect any prompt resolutions to any type of flaw or incorrect order received.Of course,

I took my daughter with me to the store, in hopes of furnishing her room. I was stunned to hear VERY berating language directed toward employees. I immediately turned an left.

This was CLEARLY NOT a professional response in any given situation. Actually it appeared to be directed toward the staff in general.

I don't care if they were giving things away. I will NEVER come back.

We've recently purchased patio furniture at the Tanasbourne location. Our salesperson was mature, and very well versed in her product knowledge. I can't tell how much we've enjoyed our new patio furniture. Definitely recommended!

When I purchased my first home recently I wanted to also furnish it with nice upscale pieces that I would have for many years to come. Thus I was willing to spend more money to do so. Fishel?s seemed to have the contemporary look I enjoy, and the sales person was most helpful?at the time. However, once the furniture was purchased and arrived 5 months later, I found our entire bedroom suite to be scratched, dinged and completely in unacceptable form. Suddenly their attention to customer satisfaction was thrown out the door. Both the Sales Manager and Service Manager do not return phone calls, lied to us, gave inconsistent stories, and will not even consider giving a discount for the inconvenience we are experiencing and the simple fact that we did not get what we ordered. I am still holding their hand through this process and have yet to reach an agreement where I, the customer, am satisfied. They simply do not care about the level of product they sell, or the level of service one would expect from an establishment such as theirs. IKEA has a better return policy than they do.
I am one for supporting local businesses, but this one...don't bother.

Fishels is a furniture and home decor store that focuses mostly on the contemporary look. I really like everything they have here, but I was never crazy about the location. Luckily, they have opened a second store in my neck of the woods, in the Tanasbourne area. If you're looking for some modern pieces, definitely check out Fishels.

I love this store! I first know about a few years ago when i went to a local Meir & Frank Homestore and i noticed these really cool looking contemporary barstools. So i asked the cashier if they sell those stools here and she said that those stools are from Fishels. She then give me the address. It was the best stores with the most contemporary pieces i've seen. Since my house is contemporary style, everything just fit perfectly, for me. The prices are really great and it's worth every penny, not overpriced. The store, smell great as well.

PROS: Great home decor, affordable price
CONS: too far from my house!
