I was working with Marcus with the Chevrolet sales team on a new vehicle from a different dealership. We had agreed upon a price that was fair and reasonable. Then we learned that the new vehicle was being driven by the owner of that dealership and had excessive miles. To say the least I didn't purchase that vehicle.

Then we looked at the new vehicles on the Chevrolet lot. I located one I wanted. We started the negotiations and both of us took off Christmas week. When we returned, the dealership added very expensive options of rims and wheels. For the next two days I attempted to obtain an offer from the dealership. At the close of business, I received a quote that exceeded the amount I wanted to pay and the salesman knew I wanted to pay. I countered and haven't heard back from the salesman or the dealership in over 24 hours even after e-mailing the General Manager.

I have never stepped foot in this dealership and I was torn about the rating. The first part was great, but when we started to look on the dealership lot, the communication started to drop. With this experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

I recently brought my vehicle in to Capitol Chevy service dept for the first time, I usually had my service done at another dealer but they are no longer there. The staff was quick to greet me as though I had been coming here for years, the service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definatly refer friends and family to your store. Thanks for making the transition very easy for me.

I recieved a call at work from my wife telling me that something was wrong with our Chevrolet Suburban. She told me that she was on her way back to Salem from McMinnville with our two small children when she pulled away from a stop sign the engine got really loud but the car was not picking up any speed. She said the car felt like it was not shifting gears. I told her to pull off the road and turn the car off. I informed her that I was going to call Capitol Chevrolet and see if there is something simple that could have happened. I contacted Capitol Chevrolet's Service Center and explained what has happened. Thesrvice told me that it sounded like a problem with that automatic transmission and that they would have to get the vehicle back to thier repair facility to determine what was wrong with our suburban. I told them my wife was stuck on the side of the road with our children in the vehicel. What happened next was truly exceptional customer service. The service3 person told me that they would drive out to my wifes location and deliver a loaner vehicle to her and have the suburban towed back to the dealership. Well, within twenty minutes or so my wife called me and told me that the Capitol people were there now with a loaner car for her and the suburban was with the tow truck. Well it turns out that the torque converter (something with the transmission) had gone bad and ruined the transmission in our suburban. Capitol provided us with daily updates and had a new transmission installed in our vehicle that same week. When we picked our Suburban up Capitol even gave us a twenty percent discount and woul not except any money for the loaner vehicle. I cannot thank the Capitol Service Staff enough. My wife and kids are safe and the suburban has never ran better. I will never take a vehicle anywhere but Capitol Chevrolet, and continue to tell all my family and friends about the wonderful experiences we have recieved from Capitol Chevrolet. Thanks again Capitol Team!

Capitol Auto Group has the absolute worst service department that we've dealt with.
Ever.
When we took our SUV to them for an oil leak, it took weeks, and weeks, and even more weeks, for them to do....NOTHING!

We were even told once that it was done, and when my husband's co-worker dropped him off to pick it up, the car had the entire front end and suspension disassembled.....

They were so incompetant that they themselves could not fix it, and they themselves could not keep track of the progress (or lack thereof) of the repairs.

Finally, we took the car.....still leaking......to another Chevrolet Dealer. Power Chevrolet fixed the SUV's oil leak in one day, correctly.

PROS: Incompetance. Ignorance. Terrible Customer Service. Grade: F
