Reviews for Lamb's Thriftway

Ratings_icons Sean S sounds like a D Bag

It sounds as if Sean S thinks he is the coolest guy in the world and likes to show everybody that he shops at places like Whole Foods and Lamb's Thriftway. As far as the store goes, i've never been there, but I'm sure its mediocre.

Ratings_icons Brian S. Sounds Like You Got Scared

Sean S.

Sounds like you should have just told them what you new. You know I would be pissed if some one offered me help to find someone then they got scared. You sound like a real coward to me I have been shopping at thriftway for years and have never been treated better anywhere else. If I were you I would just come clean before it eats away at your conscious. Unless you are just a coward. But as far as the store is concerned its one of the best not quite like the Whole Foods in Bridgeport though.

Ratings_icons Management is Clueless and the store is overpriced and not unique

Brian S.

I was interrogated in the front of the store like some sort of shoplifter because one of the courtesy clerks thought I could identify a person who vandalized his friends car. When I explained that I really could not identify the person I was further interrogated in front of the entire store. The manager at the time found the incident humorous.

A call to the General Manager did not even result in a call back. I am now wondering what on earth I could have do wrong to deserve such treatment in front of my neighbors.

Bad service, not well managed, staff is more interesting in socializing on the job that helping customers. The old timers are great, it is mostly the new kids on the block. Mostly weekends and evening this happens.

Ratings_icons Convenient but Pricey

Marieke H. | insider Insider | Rank: 23,497

If you live in the Garden Home area, this place is very convenient. It has all the staples, but the food is a bit on the pricey side. If money is no object then this place is fabulous. They have great customer service and a friendly atmosphere. Also, as a side note, their french bread is the best. I don't buy mine from anywhere else.
