5 Stars: Cute name for a coffee (Joe) and sweets (Sugars) shop plus much more. (by Linda W.)

Joe and Sugars not only has great coffee but wonderful homemade sweets, sandwiches, soups and milkshakes. It is family owned and they always make everyone feel at home.

4 Stars: Joe & Sugars Old Oregon Trail Coffee Roasters (by Donna T.)

I love to go to "Joe & Sugars" because their coffee is excellent, and reasonably priced. The shop is quaintly decorated with a "Old Time" theme. An old bycycle tops one of the deep red cabinets in their open kitchen. Old black and white pictures of people who have lived in the community are hung on walls and propped up against the glass windows where the delicious variety of fruit turnovers, cookies and homemade chocolate brownies and sometimes carrot cake or some other "sweet thing" might be purchased. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. Music matching the decor is quietly playing in the air. This is a family run business and it's just fun to know you'll see the same faces whenever you drop in. "Joe and Sugars" also serve sandwiches, soup, salads, cold beverages and even a breakfast sandwich. I've tried almost everything and it's all fresh, good quality and served with a smile. My only concern for this business is their hours are limited, as is the actual space in the shop. I think expansion would enhance their business.

PROS: Great coffee and pastries, reasonably priced
CONS: sandwiches are a little spendy

Wow, what a great little family place. Very very friendly and helpful - everything tasted like Mom made it in our kitchen. Nice and clean and very very quite!

This is a super family that runs this shop. Good food, good prices and very good fun! Clean and tidy, good place to gather and visit, not loud. Yummy tea!
