I've been looking for good chinese food in the area, and have been dissapointed in the past. Jung's Dynasty was the best all around. The food was hot and fresh. Didn't look like it had been sitting in a pan all day. The service was good,

My family and I ordered food to go. The won ton was good but they gave us about a 1/4 cup of sauce for about 12 won ton's . We ordered sweet and sour pork and shrimp and we received about a 1/4 of sweet and sour sauce for each. Again

Was in Portland for business, stopped in one day for lunch. I ordered the hot and sour soup... About half way through the bowl, I found a roach in the soup. We cancelled our order and walked out!

Was staying at the Comfort Inn and wanted some food, so I walked over to this little Chinese Restaurant and the food was excellent and the service was fantastic.

Read the reviews online and decided to give this place a try.......bad idea. Although the service was good and the place is kid friendly the food wasn't very good. I must say that the crab puffs were excellent. I ordered the General Tso's Entree which was very dry and hard to eat with chopsticks. I ordered my kids Sweet and Sour chicken and fried rice and both were very bland. and my wife had the General tso and fried shrimp combo and the the shrimp didn't taste like anything. So overalll it was not a very good experience and I think maybe the reviews have been written previously by people that haven't eaten out very much.... so it is what it is...Mediocre

I grew up next to this restaurant and have loved the food. Everything is excellent except the pork fried rice does need some love. The service is friendly and you can tell it's family owned due to the home like atmosphere. I got to say, I love the hot and sour soup and wish I could get the secret recipe. I used to eat it everyday almost! Best in all of Oregon and Washington.

This family owned restaurant not only offers great home cooked Chinese fare, but it's obvious that the owner's take pride in their two generation family business. The family and their loyal staff have a reputation with the regular diners and newcomers for consistent tasty, reasonably priced Chinese cooking that surpasses the mall fast food chains.

Fifteen years ago, Jung's Dynasty set the standard for excellent Chinese food, and nothing compares, even to this day. No matter what we ordered, we could always count on steaming hot food, generous portions, and outstanding taste. Service would be prompt and smiles would be plenty.

A lot of things have changed in the past fifteen years, but not the excellence of this restaurant! All of the knowledge, hard work, and dedication of the Jung family has resulted in a special place where everyone feels welcomed and every taste bud is rewarded.

We live in Vancouver and whenever we want good Chinese our family agrees it's worth the easy drive to Jung's Dynasty. (20 minutes from downtown Vancouver)
This is a great place for a large group and they always make the kids feel welcome.
The service is great and the food and prices can't be beat!
Try the sesame beef and green beans!

Dear Diners...I must say that I am a biased critic, because the owners are my wonderful parents Buck and Jeannie Jung. In 1991, they opened this wonderful little restaurant that has now become home too! They are opened 363 days a year and only close for 4th of July and Thanksgiving. They have served consistent quality and service since day one.

My recommendations are anything with string beans, General Chicken, MaPo Tofu, Shrimp Egg Foo Young and the Mongolian Beef. My favorite dishes of all are the sweet and sour dishes and all the Cantonese Beef Tomato and Curry Chow Mein. On July 20, they will be celebrating 15 wonderful years serving some of the best Chinese food in the greater Portland metropolitan area! Please call my Jung's today at 503.665.RICE for a reservation or a togo order today!

I too have tried a number of PDX Chinese restuarants, but a number dishes are the best I've had: green beans w/black bean sauce, General Tso chicken, Beef & Tomato, to name a few. Best yet, the portions are more than ample and the price is a steal!

We ordered takeout. I should mention that after inspection, we noticed that the pork fried rice and the sauce for the sweet and sour chicken were missing, but we went inside and asked for them and they were very quick in getting them to us. Ordered General Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Hot and Sour soup and Egg Flower soup. Everything was great! The chicken was high quality, the flavor in the soup was amazing, and the sweet and sour sauce tasted wonderful. We werent dissapointed in anything! I would recommend Jung's Dynasty to anyone!
