Despite the experiences we've had in the past...we still went back. The last time we came to La Provence... it took them 10 minutes just to bring us water... the server...who we've had before, is extremely unfriendly. We ended up getting up and walking out, I have never done this anywhere else. I feel like they are over priced, slow, and the servers are less than adequate. However, their bakery is amazing. I'll go in occasionally to see what the bakery has. There is usually no delay in getting something from the bakery, they are a little pricey but well worth it. I would highly recommend the bakery... not so much for the dine in restaurant though.

We admit, we have become regulars. Weekday breakfast is great. Weekends are very crowded, and the place is not sound proof. I love their omlettes and if you don't like salt, avoid Feta (duhhh). Some people like savory, som don't.

Pros: Quaint, French, Simple

Cons: It is in Oregon not France!

La Provence has the best breakfasts in town. This is the place we bring out of town guests to when they are in town. The eggs are always fluffy and delicious, and their pasteries are to die for. Unlike a lot of French restraunts around town, La Provence does not have a lot of attitude. It's a small little restaurant in the suburbs, but they definitly have big city quality.

The breakfast here is really, really good. From pastries to egg dishes. The French cuisine is also excellent. It's low-key, but if you go at night it can also be nice. It's intimate but not stiffling.
