Thanks to my very kind co-workers and a necessary knee surgery, I was introduced to this fabulous business through a gift certificate. I was thrilled, of course, but I wondered if the food would be good and how much preparation it would require. Well, the food is fantastic! There is a great selection of entrees and side dishes to choose from on the nicely designed and user-friendly website. Some items are comfort food, some are gourmet, and some are 'sounds fun to make but I probably wouldn't take the time to buy all the ingredients and do all the work'. You know, the perfect mix. Besides the food being great, I think there are two things that really set 'What's for Dinner?' apart from seemingly similar businesses. First, the completed meals are delivered right to your front door. Not home? Jim will put them in the cooler you leave by the front door. Second, the food is already prepared and in the baking dish. My husband was the chef while I was recovering and I asked him what additional steps he had to take to prepare everything. "Well, the most difficult thing I had to do was brush milk on the Chimichangas." In other words, you take off the lid with the cooking instructions, sometimes cover with foil (or brush milk on the Chimichangas!), and pop it into the oven. A few years ago, I tried one of the meal preparation businesses. They put all the raw ingredients together for me, but I had to take my cooler and pick everything up at their business, each dinner was separated into multiple plastic bags, and there were always quite a few preparation steps which meant dirtying lots of pots and pans. And, the quality and taste of the food wasn't consistent. So, for the same amount of money (yes, the SAME amount of money), I can get better food, better service and a lot more convenience with 'What's for Dinner?'. This is truly completed gourmet food right to your front door. I will continue to spoil myself and my family with this service even when the knee is healed!

What's For Dinner is a godsend! The food is fantastic - delicious, gourmet meals that are affordable and generous regarding portions. Jim is a delight and his service is amazing. Quality, quantity and charm will keep us a long-term customer!

We stopped in to check you out on Saturday and chose several dishes and I can't say enough about how wondrful everthing was. We are going on vacation but excited to get back to order some more of your excellent meals.

We've been using Whats for Dinner for several years and have never been disappointed. His portions are HUGE. The meat is always trimmed and the best cuts. We have our favorites but have never been disappointed when we try something new. Jim and the staff are A++ and I don't know what I'd do without them. It's just wonderful to eat such tasty and nutritious food. In the summer he makes a Chinese Chicken Salad that we literally fight over. Yummy!!

Being born into a family of ?Martha Stewarts? is a good thing, until you discover you are the only one who didn?t receive the wonderful homemaker genes. That is what makes What?s For Dinner so perfect for me! I can have a home cooked, gourmet meal just a defrost away for those unexpected visits from family. Chef Jim?s ingredients are always fresh and top of the line. You can taste it in his dinners. Thank you Chef Jim for sparing my family from my horrible attempts to cook!

I KNOW LONGER COOK..THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT AND JIM CRABTREE IS WONDERFUL. HE DELIVERS THE FOOD AND I PUT IT IN THE OVEN....COULDN'T BE ANY EASIER OR TASTIER.

We have been customers for the past five or six years, and highly recommend them. There is always a nice variety of dishes on the menu, and they are well prepared and flavorful.

The thing we most enjoy about the service is the convenience of knowing that if we have a busy day, or are just feeling lazy, there is always something on hand in the freezer for dinner. The convenience of having prepared meals in the freezer has also been a big help when caring for someone recovering from an illness or injury.

It is great to always have tasty, well prepared dinners in the freezer, makes dinner preparation simple. Meals are great to take in your travel trailer when vacationing. When I am out of town, no more fast food dinners for my husband! My husband enjoys the dinners and they are easy for him to prepare. The weekly menu provides great variety and has given us an opportunity to try some gourmet dishes that I would never take the time to prepare. If you have a busy schedule, don't miss out on the convenience and the quality of food provided by What's For Dinner.

I love the selection & everything is always top quality! Some dishes are really gourmet but other dishes are "homecooked" favorites. I haven't found anything we didn't love at first bite. Jim will deliver to home or work or I can just go pick out what I want at their cafe.

The food is delicious and you can't beat the convenience of having it delivered to your doorstep! Chef Jim has a great variety of entrees - it never gets dull or boring. My only question is when is he going to start sharing his recipes???

What's For Dinner catered my daughter's bridal shower and I was very pleased with the service and the outstanding presentation. I shop in the deli frequently and have enjoyed everything so far. I would highly recomend What's For Dinner. Keep up the good work guys. You make my life much easier.

We have been a customer of What's for Dinner for several years. Chef Jim's meals are always YUMMY and convenient. Having them prepared and delivered to either home or work is wonderful. Especially for any busy person or to someone who is challenged in the kitchen. With the weekly changes to his menu and with the list standard favorites and side dishes, it is never boring. I highly recommend What?s For Dinner to all busy people and to those who are at a loss of what to fix for dinners. jmk
