Pets On Broadway

I have on occassion shopped for dog supplies there and the service was great, the prices were good and the selection was excellent. My primary reason for visiting the store is their fish selection. Considering the size of the store, you could do no better. The selection consistently exceeds my expectations. The staff feed the fish with such gusto that they are frequently breeding in the tanks. The displays are thoughtful and fun to stare at -- the rainbow tank display is a must see -- with all the water movement and plants/algae swaying in the current -- really neat.

I have seen prices on the fish that are below online prices but generally they are price average. The quality is phenominal so value is as high as you will find in Portland. The other part that I really enjoy is that the staff actually likes keeping fish. They are all as excited about fish as I am. That made me start coming back and I am still shopping there.

Pets on Broadway is the place to go for pet food, supplies, toys etc. They have it all and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgable. Along with selling things for your pets, tey also all sorts of animals for sale like fish, hampsters, birds, rabbits and more.

If it weren't for ease of access I would go somewhere else. Assuredly the store is crammed with supplies but the staff leave something to be desired. Staff rules: don't look at the customers, try to avoid them, look really sloppy, be apathetic. Manager rules: promise to order a special item and call when it comes and then forget it--the customer will buy something else.

Pets on Broadway has everything for all your pets, this isn't a pet store based on only dogs or cats but fish, birds, reptiles, furry little friends, you name it, they've got what it needs. This store is packed to the ceiling of stuff, they should expand to hold all their inventory. In the back is an aquarium room that looks amazing. The staff is very friendly and are willing to help anyway they can.

We went to Pets on Broadway to purchase a cockateil. The staff there was great and let us interact with all of the birds to help us find the perfect match. They helped us get his entire cage set up and even encouraged us to put back some of the things we wanted as we were getting too much. They offer to "kennel" the bird if we ever go away for vacation. They have always taken the time to answer all of our questions.

I love this pet store. It has something for every pet -- dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and more! Also, most of the pet food they have is all-natural or organic. They also have some of the more mainstream brands of pet food, so you can get that there too. They have LOTS of cat and dog toys, treats, dishes, and so much more. There is also a resident turtle who is enormous and fun to look at and lots of fish. The only downside to this is that while some of the staff are extremely knowledgeable, occasionally some of the staff doesn't know about certain sections (such as fish).

PROS: so much to choose from!!
CONS: some staff don't know anything about fish

I used to live by pets on broadway and I found their staff to be very helpful and knowledge, their prices were very competive to the larger retail pet stores, I've recomended this store to my friends
