Many in the Pleasant Valley area were interested in your development of retirement homes at the Pleasant Valley golf course. They were also greatly interested in continuing their golf experience at the golf course.

Obviously the current housing market has impacted your plans, but for those of us who were, and may still be, considering that location for retirement there has been considerable frustration and disruption to our plans due to our inability to determine what you intend for the future there and when you might begin development.

Those who were golfers at Pleasant Valley golf course have been deeply disappointed in the long delay in making the course once again available to members and/or the public. It appears that the golf course could have been kept in operation during this long delay not only at economic advantage to it's management, but as a very positive effort to retain good customer relations with those who were interested in locating there.

In view of the above could you please let me know as well as the others on your list of potential buyers what we might expect time wise regarding home development and golf course operation?

I am a Arbor Homes aka West Hills Development home owner. The company builds good homes but experience dealing with the company is a mixed bag. The sales staff are rude and act like they are doing you a favor when you are paying them 500+K for a home. Their design staff are great...very helpful. The builder tries to hurry you thru the entire process but take their own sweet time when they owe you something. Quality is good but beware of their outrageous upgrade costs.

I'm not a ohomeowner yet, but that doesn't stop me from walking through model home after model home every chance I get. I love looking at the homes and talking to the sales people. I always tell them we're not ready yet -- don't want to lead anybody on, but some handle that better than others. I've looked at countless homes and Arbor always stands out. The sales people known just how to be there when you have questions and leave you alone when you don't. I never feel like I'm completely on my own, but I also don't feel like they're hoovering over me and watching every move.

As for the houses themselves, well they are beautiful! The floorplans are well thoughtout and make sense. The exteriors are distinctive, yet they blend. And the neighborhoods are all so inviting. Arbor Homes seems like a home a place you'd want to come home to.
