Rovente Pizzeria

I love the pizza at this joint. It is quaint and the owners who run it are so nice. The chicken dlizia is my favorite with Garlicy white sauce that has lots of flavor. After eating here the other downtown pizza joints just taste so bland. I recommend this place to all my freinds. Also, I love that they deliver, unlike some other places downtown.

I really love their pizza! Not your typical pizza place - you actually get really good food! It was so good that I kept eating after I was full cause I didn't want to waste it! The pizza is NOT greasy and it shows that they make it with quality ingredients! Best of all - it's a small business and you're supporting the local economy!

Pros: Great Food - perfect on the go spot!

Ive visited NY many times and this has to be the only pizza join I've experienced in the West Coast that truely has NY style pizza. The dough is so yummie and the pizza sauce is off the hook. I frequent this place more than I should..

Rovente's is by far one of the best Pizza places in Portland! In my opinion the only other place that comes close is Escape from New York on 23rd and I think Rovente's has them beat! The salads are sooo good and the pizza is amazing! They have a friendly atmosphere and the prices are right! Definately check them out. If you love pizza like I do, this is the place for you.

Pros: Best pizza by far, convenient location right downtown

Cons: Can be some sketchy people at night by the busline but that's all of Downtown right?

They call it "Hawaii's Own (#7)." "Maui Maui (#8)" is also excellent. It's a Hawaiian pizza with the addition of green peppers and Roma tomatoes. Both come with extra mozzarella, which is a very nice touch.

First off, most people would say that A Pizza Scholls or Flying Frog Pizza are the best pizza places in Portland... but they are wrong. I have eaten at almost all the popular pizza joints in Portland, and Rovente is hands down the best. It isnt a hipster joint like those other places, but who cares if the restaurant is decorated all trendy, when you want to make sure you are getting the best quality pizza?

Their dough is absolutely the best. I dont know how they make it so good, but bottom line is that it is always soft, yet crispy, and tastes sooo good. Their toppings are your standard style toppings... I dont know what that previous post is talking about regarding beef vs pork pepperoni... its all good. Who cares? Try their chicken pizza. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

All the cats that work there are nice, easy to get along with, remember your face if you go there often... the prices are reasonable, and they always got some AWESOME music playing.

A+ for sure!!!!

This place HANDS DOWN is amazing. you dine in you feel like u are in one of those NY style joints. art is on the wall and the owners are the one to great you. they Pizza's are Amazing they taste great. this place has one of the best tasting pizza's in Portland. i love it. i cant eat PORK but i LOVE PEPPERONI. Rovente Pizzeria is the only place that i know of in the west coast that would serve you Beef pepperoni if you ask for it. they still have regular pepperoni but beef taste alot better TRUST ME. Service is amazing everyone is friendly. its a family oriented business and just amazing.

If u live in Portland Oregon and did not eat at this place you are missing out one of the greatest experiences of good dining.

Pros: The food, Location, Ambience, Food, Easy to find, close to bus, parking building a block away
