It takes a long time to get an appointment. When you get in, they are friendly, but work does not seem to solve problems. They worked on my generator. Said they cleaned and adjusted the carburetor. When I left, the generator ran or didn't run, just like before the work. Called back?they said it would take 2 weeks to get a new appointment.

I have not dealt with Sales (I bought our RV over the Internet and took delivery at the factory), but have had all of our routine service done at Olinger. I can't speak to the build quality of the Winnebago family of brands, so my comments are strictly related to service of a brand Olinger doesn't sell.

I have had generally good service with few unexpected results. The service writer has always been friendly and I've gotten prompt appointments. One in particular went round-and-round with the RV manufacturer to determine our RV was NOT part of a recall, despite some database at the manufacturer thinking it was.

For work outside the normal oil changes and wheel bearing repacking, etc., results have been more erratic. When I asked about some out-of-warranty window replacement for our Safari Trek, they cheerfully did some research and gave me a quote. After I stopped choking I called around and got a quote for about half the estimate, probably from the same place Olinger would have out-sourced the job.

"We bought a brand new ITSCA from Olinger about 2 months ago and it has been in the shop for about 5 weeks out of the 2 months we have owned it. Well they tell me this part of owning a RV....but service I received from is very poor...first crack radiator, electrical problem, cables not installed properly, water level meter not reading proper levels....and we call them check on the RV they tell us it is in the shop but they never give us the details as to what is being worked on. We called to ask when we can have the RV so we can winterize since the temp will drop to zero in their response well is the pipes crack that??s your responsibility and nothing can be done right now since we not finished working on the RV. Don't believe anything the sales department tells you and don't believe when they will treat you like a family. DO NOT DEAL WITH RALPH.....he is a lair and cheats you by selling all the warranties which are not warranties but service contracts which doesn't cover much

These people should be closed down for what they do. They take your money with a smile but if you need anything else from them, they screw you!!! I mean anything!!! They promise a great customer service that will walk you through any problems while you are on the road. They promise you a great auto shop to fix your problems. They lie !!! These people are the worse and we need to stop giving them money. The biggest problem they have is communicating with eachother. No one is on the same page with anything!!! They screw you with a big smile on their face. If you aren't going to believe me, be carefull and watch your step with their so called deals!

(Fred's RV is better with a different selection but more honest approach to selling you something.)

We baught a 2007 so this is a new review!

It took a month for them to deliver my new trailer that they were suppose to deliver the next day. They delivered the wrong trailer that was full of another families personal belongings and took two days to pick it back up and replace it. When they replaced it, they backed it into my fence and cracked the tail lights that took two weeks to order when they had the tail lights sitting on their shelves.

It is 6 months later and I want to bring it in for a check up but they are full for the next 3 months.

Don't believe them!!!! CRIMINALS!!!!

I question OTHI in the Hillsboro location's service mechanics abilities in performing routine services.

I had the "Silver Service Package" done which included the water, gas, and appliances to be checked for leaks and functioning order. The refrigerator service compartment looked as though it had not been touched, same cobwebs since the unit was in storage-was told area would be clean of all webs for proper working order of equipment. The water fill pipe was also cracked and leaking water-seems a major item to miss! The roof vent was replaced and they left the old piece inside the trailer and put the broken crank handle back on. I also had the wheel bearings packed and they didn't bother filling the tires up with proper air pressure. Made me question if they actually did pack the wheel bearings.

Word of advice! Question every service item they do and make sure it's done correctly or at least to your satisfaction.

I have one positive comment and that is the service person, Tony. Out of all the Service Techs that have had to deal with during this service experience, he was very responsive, very knowledgeable, and very good at customer service. His professional attitude and dedication to make everything right saved me from being a very disgruntled client. But even with that said I will be looking for another place to have the trailer serviced.

As a conditon of sale the microwave was to be swapped out for a convection oven. Can't find an oven to fit so have to redo the cabinetry. Been waiting over 2 months. Olinger has had our coach for over a month now. This is a brand new RV. A repair that we had requested was also supposedly completed but it still doesn't work correctly.

Pros: Patty in Parts department keeping us abreast of progress (or nonprogress!)

Cons: Work not getting done. We have no RV. Warrenty work not done.
