they will do most hems while you wait, unless of course if they are really behind. They do good quality work and the prices are very reasonable. I totally recommend them.

Had a suit altered there upon recommendation from my mother. It needed basics: Length hemmed and cuffs. I also requested the jacket be pinned to compliment my figure.
Suit was ready the following week as agreed. (I was in no hurry) Jacket fit PERFECT, exactly how I wanted it and looks fantastic.
Pants also were perfect. I think I got a 1.25" cuff with a full break. I didnt specify what I wanted in the hem and cuff. If you are one of those men who likes the highwater look make sure you tell whoever helps you.
I dropped off the suit with the man there and picked it up from the woman. They are both nice. This is where I will go for any alterations from now on. Great Value.
Pros: No BS, Great Work, Fair Price
Cons: Nope

Defensive Customer Service
by Halston345
I found Alteration Station through City Search and the reviews looked great. I have been a seamstress myself for many years and working especially in bridal alterations for 5+ years. I decided to bring in my bridesmaid dress to be altered by Alteration Station, because my schedule is very packed and they had high recommendations. The first time I was there for pinning, the experience was great. Fast and friendly. I picked up the dress last Thursday and was happy that this little chore was taken off my plate. Monday night, I remembered that I should try on the dress to make sure everything was okay. I tried it on and it was VERY tight. I couldn't breath and it was pinching in my waist so bad that the boning was jabbing my rib bones. I took the dress back in this morning with hopes of having it corrected. When I expressed my concerns to the owner, he said that I came in asking for my dress to be tight, tight, tight. That is not the case at all, in fact, I asked him to take the least amount out of the waist if any at all. He got very defensive and after I decided that I will just take the dress home and fix it myself he walked off on me. No goodbye, or sorry for this confusion, nothing. I have actually never been walked off on before by someone I just paid to do a service for me. I was pretty shocked.
I do still think Alteration Station can do a great job on people's alterations, but this situation was handled so poorly. I was confused with another customer and that customer's wants and then I was just left standing at the front counter. For that reason, I will not be returning and I issue a customer beware.
Pros: Convenient, quick, and affordable
Cons: Customer service

by nawalks
I took my wedding dress to be altered at alteration station and in a very short time they finished it and did a perfect job on it, they went out of their way and more than i asked for to make it right for my wedding day. They also altered my Bridal maides dresses which also turned out wonderful! I will never go any where else!!
By the way, they have moved from the Lloyd Center to NE Broadway between 17th and 19th.
I HIGHLY recommend this alteration shop for the the best quality, best price, and the most professional work!!!
Pros: they moved from lloyd center to NE Broadway
Cons: NONE

Excellent service, fabulous work!

I am a short person, which means, when I buy expensive jeans I always have to have them tailored to fit. Not only are they less expensive than the department stores, but they are faster and do beautiful work. I would not go anywhere else. By the way, they've moved from the Lloyd center and are located on NE Broadway. Highly recommended!
Pros: Everything they do is of the highest quality.
Cons: I can't think of a single complaint.
