In my opinion they are leaf blower fanatics. In front of my residence there is a small patch of Ivy that could be raked in a matter of minutes. They instead use leaf blowers to blow all the top soil 8 feet up on the exterior of my building, all over my windows and window sills, and turn my freshly swept walkway up to my door into a mud path. I called them up immediately at 10 am in the morning and didn't get a call back until 4:30 pm with some guy saying how important customer service was to them and that they would do something. He also sounded upset we only have every other week service and mentioned it a number of times. Well that was Monday before having guests come over. It is now Friday after all the guests had to see mud and top soil all over the side of my residence. Very disappointing. Leaf blower fanatics. The worst is they seem to aim at the vehicles with all the top soil and debri.
I was originally attracted to Seven Dees by their large garden store on powell and when I found out they offered lawn care services as well I was in love.
Usually with lawn care services there seems to always be a time here or there that they "forget" to do something - trim this bush, pickup that weed, etc. This hasn't been the case so far with Seven Dees, although they did leave a note on my door about some dog poop in the yard but I suppose they do have to walk around back there huh?
All in all a good all around service and if you ever need another potter plant or perenial they have them in stock and just bring them over for the next visit.
On 8/3/09 at about 8:45a.m. I was at the Safeway in St. Johns, sitting in my car parked in a Handicap slot. The maintenance crew in truck YUN 681 pulled right next to my car to trim a tree. I then felt and heard a bump against my rear passenger door of my 'Brand New Car-2010 Toyota", (that has only 160 miles on it). I looked back to see what it was. One of the crew members was leaning against the rear door. I got his attention and told him to get away from my car. I noticed he had a utility belt on with tools attached to it. He did say he was sorry. I proceeded first to move my car to another slot. Then, I went into Safeway and made a complaint to the store manager. Additionally, I've called and left a message with a supervisor (Steve) and spoke to a manager (Mike).
I know your company has a great reputation and was shocked to see such total disregard to personal property-vehicles especially in a public place. What I don't understand is why the crew didn't go to another tree where there wasn't a car parked (as there was one available). Or wait until I was done at the store and had moved my car away from the tree.
I believe this employee should be severely reprimanded if not fired/suspended and the other crew members receive additional training on working around vehicles/personal property. It gives the impression the crew is reckless, careless and unprofessional while on the job. I truly, believe the crew member's didn't see me sitting in the car and possibly could have damaged my car had I not noticed. This should not be tolerated!
Pros: Manager receptive to complaint against crew member
Cons: Crew member's disregard to customers parked vehicles
