London Influence

I have been going to London Influence for nearly 4 years and LOVE it! I tried Ziva and a few others and did NOT have good experiences. I lucked out to find LI, and will always go for a cut and color as well as the occasional mani/pedi.

I highly recommend London Influence. Scot Alexander is my hair stylist. I have received so many compliments on my new hair cut. Scot does a wonderful job of picking a hair design that compliments your facial features. He specializes in hair color and has a real art in doing it! You won't be disappointed!

I can't believe I ever went to Dosha! If you want a professional with years of experience to draw from and not some 22 year old with 7 months on her resume, John Newbury is the man for you! Who cares if you don't get organic tea and a hand massage, that is just fluff the other places use to disguise their lack of expertise. No need for bells and whistles here. I love my new haircut.

After being recommended to London Influence by a friend, I tried it out last summer. I live in Salem, and if it says anything, I'm willing to drive to Portland at least twice a month to have it cut. The atmosphere is inviting, with pictures by local artists hanging on the walls. After having long hair for as long as I can remember, Hayley gave me a short A-line bob that I love. It's pricey, but I would recommend her to anyone. Make sure and book about a month in advance as everyone stays very busy.

I have been going to Robert for over 6 years now, and it's the best cut and color I have ever had in my life... and I have lived ALL OVER this country. Granted, the salon is not the best looking in town. But the level of customer service and the quality of the cut and color is unsurpassed. If importance is placed on how cool and hip the salon appears, you might want to find some trendier spot that caters to people who don't care if their stylist is an inexperienced professional... but if you want the best cut of your life... then call ahead and ask for Robert... but you'll want to do it AT LEAST 30 days in advance... as that is how busy he is. I won't go anywhere else.

I was very surprised the first time I went here. I saw a mother daughter pair getting their hair done. Typically hair salons can do either style well, but not both. Not so with this place. They can make both happy. It costs a bit more, but it is not the most expensive shop in town. I had a perm and was very happy with it.
