Top Notch Service  5 Star Rating - World class

Great experience. I was able to shop and schedule my test drive on line. The car was ready to drive when I arrived and the price was right. Thanks Skyline!!

Bad experience 2 times  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

On two occassions I have had a bad experience with skyline ford. One time I was trying to buy a truck and could not for the life of me get a salesperson to acknowledge that I was there or get any help from any one. The second time the same thing happened but we were just browsing around. No one came out to ask us if we needed any help and we wanted to drive one of the vehicles. They lost a sale the first day and now since the second experience they have lost a customer for good.

Wouldn't go back to Skyline Ford if they were the last Dealership on Earth!  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

We were looking for a third car for our family.

We visited the used lot, and saw a used Mustang on the lot.
We are informed buyers, and we do our homework.

Well, when we went to the dealer with printouts of the value of that particular car that we got from Edmunds.com, let's just say that the staff was less than friendly.

They would not talk price, they just wanted to know how much we could afford per month....we finally just left.

This was the worst customer service that we've dealt with from any dealership....ever.

They were the stereotypical car salesmen....with the non-customer-service attitudes.

Our advice: Stay away from Skyline Ford. Far Away!

PROS: NONE!
CONS: Poor Service. Poor Service. Negative Attitudes, and Poor Service.

Nice Salespeople  4 Star Rating - Very good

We bought a Ford Expedition at Skyline Ford, and we were very happy with the service. While of course it is a car lot, the people were very friendly, and not pushy.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT EXPERIENCE  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I have a 93 Lincoln Towncar and a light came on saying Check air suspension. I made an appointment and took it to Skyline Ford and they said it would be $80 to check. We took it in at 7:30 a.m.

We called at noon to see if they had checked it yet and they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. Then they called back at 4:30 and asked if they could have it overnight.

The next day I called and said "when is it going to be done?" They said it's done. I went in and paid the $80 and asked what was wrong. They said "Nothing". I said I paid for a diagnosis! They said "the light didn't come on." I said "why didn't you just call me then and tell me you couldn't test it!"

I paid the $80 under duress and left to go home and on the way home the light comes on again!! I drove back there and said "Did you even test drive this thing? The light usually comes on after you drive it at least three car lengths!!" I said "If you just turned the key and saw that the light was out I want my $80 back. I paid you $80 for a diagnosis!" The manager comes over and says "Oh, is the light on now, well then we can check it." I said "So you're tellilng me that when you turned the ignition on before and the light didn't come on you couldn't check it but instead of just calling me and saying the light doesn't come on you charged me $80!!"

He ignored that and told me that now that the light was on they could tell what was wrong and they took it in again. He said it would only take 5 minutes. 45 minutes later (yep I was watching my watch) I said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU SAID 5 MINUTES!" He said "He's just going to test drive it now."

So he brings it to me again and says "It's okay" I said "What was wrong" and he said "Nothing, the light is out" and as I am sitting there idling the light comes on again. I informed them I wasn't leaving until I got my money back and FINALLY I got it back. The light is still on! :(

PROS: One of the mechanics was very nice
CONS: Management was condescending
