Beyond comprehension that a local operation with such a well-known reputation for scamming people, is rated F by the BBB, which lists numerous complaints ranging from defective product, illegal repossessions , unfair credit practices, most of which violate Federal Law - remains open.
One thing is certain, Ken Phillips and his racket would will inevitably be faced with all the heartache and grief he's caused so many, only much much worse!

Please contact me through e-mail concerning how I can help my very good friend sue WFA for three vehicles that were returned due to unsafe equipment. He also paid for damages to the first vehicle that were present at the time of purchase. Even though him and the sales man had a lengthy conversation about living in the snow and having medical issues that require the four wheel drive to work. The sales man lied the four wheel drive did not work and my friend spent $300.00 to repair the locking hubs. WFA didn't offer reimbursement for parts or labor and then completed another contract for a vehicle that the transfer case didn't work either, but before driving the vehicle away both the sales person and buyer got under the vehicle and the consumer said "stick your hand on the cross member near the transfer case it looks and smells like gear oil" the sales individual said "oh no it used to leak but the problem has been fixed." The consumer advised it was obvious after three times but was assured on the third contract that the vehicle was safe. The vehicle had something wrong with it but at first the consumer thought he just wasn't used to driving this type of truck. But after several months and very infrequent driving the problem was so bad that it was difficult to keep the truck on the road so the consumer called and advised WFA to come get it because he was too scarred to drive it on the freeway.
They sent a flat bed truck to retrieve the very unsafe Nissan pathfinder because they were given notifications of the safety defect interim in May 2011 and second on July 25, 2011. Please see attached .......(~8

Auto Recall Date: 04/20/2011
Vehicle Component: SUSPENSION:FRONT
Estimated Vehicles Affected: 195991
1997 NISSAN PATHFINDER Defect Summary:
NISSAN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 1996-2004 PATHFINDER AND MODEL YEAR 1997-2003 INFINITI QX4 VEHICLES ORIGINALLY SOLD, OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN, CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, IOWA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, MASSACHUSETTS, MAINE, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, VERMONT, WASHINGTON D.C., WEST VIRGINIA AND WISCONSIN. IN AREAS OF THE COUNTRY IN WHICH HEAVY CONCENTRATIONS OF ROAD SALT ARE USED, A MIXTURE OF SNOW/WATER AND SALT MAY ENTER AN ASSEMBLY LOCATION HOLE IN THE UPPER STRUT HOUSING, CAUSING WATER TO COLLECT AT THE MATING SURFACE OF THE STRUT HOUSING PANEL AND THE INNER HOOD LEDGE ASSEMBLY. OVER TIME, THIS SNOW/WATER AND SALT INTRUSION MAY RESULT IN CORROSION OF THE STRUT TOWER HOUSING IN SOME SUBJECT VEHICLES.
Defect Consequence:
THE STRUT HOUSING MAY CRACK AND PULL AWAY FROM THE INNER HOOD LEDGE ASSEMBLY. THIS MAY LEAD TO GRINDING NOISES, INCREASED STEERING EFFORT, AND POSSIBLY THE STEERING COLUMN TO BREAK, RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Remedy:
NISSAN WILL INSPECT THE STRUT HOUSING AND REPAIR THE VEHICLES AS NECESSARY, FREE OF CHARGE. AN INTERIM NOTIFICATION LETTER WAS SENT OUT IN MAY 2011. THE SECOND NOTICE WAS MAILED ON JULY 25, 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261.

If only I could place a zero on their score... or maybe even a negative score. Last year I went in to get a new car from WFA... I found a really nice Jeep Cherokee that I fell in love with. My dad had taken away my car so I thought I should go out on my own and get one for myself. So I go in and find this car... signed some papers and told them I would return with $800 as the down payment. Well, my dad gave me back my car to stop me from doing something stupid like that, and so they called me and asked when I was coming to get the car. I told them that I was unable to take it and told them the situation. (Mind you I didn't drive off the lot with it and I didn't give them ANY money)... Well he wasn't happy with me and told me that he had no other choice but to put a repo on my record... I was like... "Are you f_cking kidding me? I didn't take the car or pay anything for it. You have no right to do that. That is illegal." and he told me because I signed papers saying I had every intention of getting the car, that the car was mine. He said he was saving that car for me and that he could have sold it a thousand times by now. I told him sorry, but kick rocks. So his manager talks to me and told me that a repo was being placed on my record. I threatened him with a lawsuit and told him he would be hearing from my lawyer... which scared the sh_t out of him... lol... and he pussied out and backed off. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THE CROOKS AT WORLD FAMOUS AUTO! They are nothing but slimy, scamming as_holes.

I will never buy a car here again! For one thing they charge way to much for their vehicles! We were in a bind because my car broke down and can't afford much. They did give us credit with a small down payment which i appreciate. However the salesman was very pushy and now i owe way to much on a 14 year old used vehicle which also has a dent in it! And we were one day late on our first payment because i couldn't make it in there so they charged us a $10 dollar late fee! I think that is outrageous for ONE DAY! I am going to tell everyone i know to NEVER EVER buy a car here.

Ken, and his Team of Experts at World Famous Autos have always made me feel like family. Ken was always their taking care of my family??s driving, and financial needs for over 17 years. When I needed a car Ken was they??re helping me pick just the right one for me. If the car ever had a problem again there he and his team were helping me get it fixed as soon as possible. I have traded with this company over the years because I felt welcomed and not pushed to buy something I didn??t want. When I walk on the lot the people are very friendly and ask what I am looking for. I totaled my car a few years ago. I was scared to drive again. But Ken put me in a car that gave me my confidence back to drive again. Now I am driving the car of my dreams, thanks to Ken and his whole Team at World Famous Autos.
When I started buying cars from World Famous my credit was not that good. But over the years with the help of this company I have build a good credit score. Plus I have enjoyed so many cars, and trucks. I would trade with them again for sure.

Thank you Ken and your Team

Darla :)

I just made my last payment on my 2000 Dodge Ram truck on June 2ND 2011. Ken and Allen over the years have treated me like family, any time i needed something or had any questions they made time for me to help me. About three years ago my clutch went out in my truck and i called Ken just to ask him how much would they charge for a new clutch, to my surprise they told me since i was a great customer and make my payments on time or even early they sprung for a new clutch and all i did was pay for the install because they used a different party for the install.

To put it plain and simple its all about respect and honor, make your payments on time, Treat them with respect and they will return the respect to you and treat you as family. I have bought three vehicles at WFA's and if i need another i will proudly return and buy another one.
Respectfully Paul the Dodge Ram guy.

Odd, Wolf In Wolf's clothing, that you assume the only valid opinion is the one you hold, while insisting that any one with an opposing view or experience must be (call out the caps and exclamation points!!!) liars.

I reiterate: My ex-husband and I purchased five vehicles from WFA. This was over a period of several years and there was nothing wrong with any of them. My husband purchased a truck, then turned it in and bought a more powerful model when he bought a larger job trailer. (Count: 2 vehicles.) I purchased a car, which I drove for several years, then turned it in for a Jeep Liberty because I wanted 4 wheel drive. (Count: vehicles 3 and 4.) When gas prices skyrocketed I decided I didn't really need the Jeep, which got pretty poor gas mileage for such a small vehicle (as noted by Consumer Reports.) I traded it in for my current vehicle a little over two years ago. (Count: 5 vehicles.) Prior to purchasing the vehicles, we checked Consumer Reports, checked Carfax and considered carefully whether or not we would be able to afford them. EDITED TO ADD: I'm confused by the review above mine. Renee, you CALLED them to pick up your car, which they did at 2 A.M.? And you had your brothers chase them off? After calling and demanding they take the car? Color me very confused.

I purchased a '97 Jeep Wrangler from WFA about 1 year ago. I had filed bankruptcy within a month of needing the vehicle. WFA let me name my payments, put a fair price on the Jeep (compared to bluebook) and gave me down payment options that directly affected my interest rate. I've had loans from banks with much higher interest rates when my credit was decent. I realize a lot of people have had bad experiences with these guys but I really can't complain. I make my payments on time and I carefully checked out the vehicle I bought.

When you are buying a used vehicle you MUST have it inspected by a mechanic you trust from top to bottom. And don't ever believe that if something looks to good to be true that it is. If you are buying a BMW, sports car, SUV, etc that is the limited edition, leather, sunroof, rims, stereo and all that with over 100,000 miles on it for under $6-$7k, 9 times out of 10 you will be sorry. That is regardless of where you buy it.

The fact is that WFA is a used car lot. Used car salesmen all have the stigma of a slimeball. It is up to YOU to go in there and find a good deal. You can never trust the guy making money in a situation to look out for your best interest. In addition, if you cannot make your payments on time, WFA is NOT the place to do business. Banks will put up with that for 30-60 days if you are lucky. WFA lends with their own cash. How long would you wait for some dude to pay you your money?

If only I could give them a rating of ZERO stars! They are the scum of the earth, and will do anything to make a quick, albeit, a dishonest, buck. Be cautious, when dealing with anyone from World Famous Autos, and never trust anything they say.
Medford is a small town, and it is easy to expect that you would be able to trust a local business, and not need to worry about being screwed, but these guys are in the ??Screw U? business. All of the previous reviews go to show that this business is not worthy of the time of day.

To the writer that wrote "Stop living in a fairy tale": Dude, you TOTALLY work for WFA, so quit trying to act like a customer who has had goo experiences with them, mister "I have bought many cars there" It is so OBVIOUS you work there- you are a wolf in WOLF'S CLOTHING. This car lot ripped off and took advantage of TWO of my friends here in Medford- BOTH of whom are single mother's who dont have the cash to SUE them. I would give them ZERO stars, but they require at least one.
Oh, and to the person who says that "they always have good luck" with them, that you have purchased 5 cars there- WHY on earth did you have to purchase 5 cars from them? What was wrong with the first one you bought? the second? THE FOURTH? Buying 2? Maybe. 5? BULLSH*T.I don't believe you. You work for them too. WFA: quit coming on here and putting up fake reviews.

The service at World Famous Autos is horrible. We had a car repossessed when the payment was not late and not even due. In fact, the payments were never late. The repo person showed false documents, they refused to give us our personal belongings from inside the vehicle. Additionally, they never mailed a notice of sale, which is required by law! This website can help consumers worldfamousautos.info who have had similar experiences.

This website can help consumers worldfamousautos.info who have had similar experiences.

When you buy a used car.....it is a USED car in the state of Oregon. There is no lemon law! That means you take a chance on things going wrong. If you do not get the car checked out for issues...well that's your ignorance! Make your payments on time, keep current insurance, read your contract...There are rules....read em! WFA is not a bank which means there is no grace period! I have bought many vehicles from this company over the years and have had very little issues with them.
The ignorance of you making threats to people over the internet...well that shows your maturity or maybe that you know you were in the wrong..

Hi, my name is mcdaniel and i bought a car awhile ago from WFA, and i have to say that it makes me sick to my stomache to think that grown men can lie,be immoral, and hurt others just to save their own and make money.. When the economy is down and people are just trying to survive and keep afloat, it is cruel to think that there are buisnesses like WFA that advantages off of the weak, nieve, desperate, and the honest working class citizen.. Trust me, "there is a place for the poeple out there that hurt others and all mankind just to save their own"..
I have the same story as most, i bought a car nievely from WFA by trading in my old car, and 2 weeks after i had problems that started to arise.. After they fixed it they charged me 1200$, and they said the car was sold to me as is and thats why they cant help in the charges.. So after i cleaned out my bank account and had to borrow a little from family, i got the car back, shure enough 1 month later i had more problems arising, this time i took it in they said it would be about 400$ to fix, they didnt have any car for me to borrow this time so i had to ride my bike 8 miles back and forth to work each day, after they fixed it, after 2 months i took a trip to se my family for christmas, and then the transmission started to go bad, i had no more money to be forking out on this car, they picked it up from my families house in the middle of the night, i had to take a grey hound back home and further struggle with burdains they"ve caused me.. I waisted over $4,000 to WFA, i lost my old car that i traded in, and i lost a little hope in this dog eat dog society. I gained knowledge and am not as nieve and trusting as much anymore, so atleast i got some wisdom and learned off of dealing WFA.. Even though there are poeple and companies out there that are vampires and are only out for their own, dont let them make you bitter or dimmer inside, just keep giving and being a good person no matter what, thats what makes the world go round.. How these people sleep at night is beyond me, i couldnt ever wake up knowing that im making a living dishonestly and immoraly... Ide rather live without money and be homeless then ever make a living screwing others for their money....... Thank you for reading :)

Do not ever buy a car from WFA, trust me...you will regret it. I know that there are thousands of people out there who regret their dealings with them. I have decided to do something about it. If you have had an unusually bad experience, I would like you to email me at pj.fields@rocketmail.com. Please include the details such as what happened, the dates, the people involved, and how much money was involved. I will do the rest, and I will contact you. There are laws protecting consumers, and I plan on making sure that what they did to me will not happen to others. Instead of spending the rest of my life wishing I had not dealt with them, they are going to spend the rest of their life wishing they had not dealt with me. Email me, this is going to be worth you time!

World Famous sold me a 03 Mazda Protege and within the first 3 hours of driving it off the lot I noticed it was running funny. I took the car back to them and they sent to me to a transmission specialist and apparently the transmission was completely burnt and has been for a for quite some time. They KNOWINGLY sold me a car with a busted transmission. I'm 19 and this is the first car I've ever bought. I spent ALL of my money to pay for this car and now I have to come up with three grand to replace the transmission. These CROOKS took advantage of my age and experience and absolutely SCREWED me. I'm trying to go to college but have no transportation because i trusted these idiots to guarantee their vehicles. They refuse to help me and I have no idea how they keep getting away with this. I want to put these bastards out of business and I know there are MANY other people that feel the same. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE inform me because I want to screw them like they screwed all of us. They CAN'T keep getting away with this.

Look at the better bussiness B. for world famous auto they rate an "F" I have spent $950.00 on repairs for my car I bought in Oct. 2009, In the frist month the front wheel casing flew off damaging the wheel fender over the tire..I was told the inside tires are dry rotted, as you can not see them from the front! I still have not been able to replace the tires as all repairs have cost me a lot of money. In the last few months, I had never driven my car in for a long distance or in the heat till a few months ago then wow over heating, engine fan was broken , new bleeder value replaced, new thermostate, now I am told the radiator needs replace, possible wrecked in front and WFA had put old replaced one in the car.I am now told I need to replace the radiator at the cost of $400.00 + labor! I have found that so many things on my car are fixed to hide things, the Oil pan plug was stripped out and glued in now I can only have my oil changed at one place as now other place will change the oil so have to return to that place as the oil pan needs replaced...I had a credit score of 645 and still was charged 24% intrest...They will not tell you the price of the cars at all just when you say I want to pay ex amount of dollars then give you a pick of 2 cars, I never got to drive but one car ,I have e-mailed regarding the class action suit no responce does anyone have any information? Thanks

My ex husband and I have purchased 5 vehicles from World Famous. Every vehicle has run well. The salespeople were nice- I'm not sure where the horrible vultures everyone is talking about were when we purchased our vehicles, but we certainly never ran into any of them. We got behind in our payments a couple of times because of hard times, but they always worked with us. Odd how different people's experiences can be.

The owner will call and cuss you out on the day you owe them money (not even late). He is full of Sh*% and can't do anything to you. He says his people are following you (THEY ARE NOT). I have him recorded 2x now and myself and several others are setting him up for a class action suit, so record the calls ALWAYS!!!

I've bought over 20 cars in the last 15 years. I've bought cars as low as $200 and as high as $8000, and they have all ran very well for me. I was treated with respect and courtesy. But I gotta say you shouldn't expect a great running, problem free car for less than $3000 these days. If you make your payments on time and treat WFA w/ respect they will do the same to you.

WHAT A JOKE! Do NOT, again do NOT buy any car from world famous. Last car I bought from they duck tapped and super glew half of the parts on it, so two days later car fell apart. All of their cars are OVERPRICED, sometime tho the have a car that you think is a GOOD buy for a low price, that just means that it'll probably break down on you within couple hours.
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!
Never do business with them. And by the way, all of those positive reviews are probably from World Famous and not from real customers.

Yes, the below is true! We purchased a car recently from WF and then two weeks later a truck as well. A few days after the purchase of the car, the transmiaaion completely blew out! They set us up with a loaner car, which the transmission blew out of the second day we had it. Then, while they were "fixing" our car, they set us up with a second loaner since our car wasn't done yet. The second loaner's back drivers door kept opening as it "vibed" its way out of the latch while the car drove, and the gas float read everything from empty to 1/2 tank, so I never knew if I was about to run out. (Keep in mind these are vehicles they have out on thier lot - right NOW - for sale.) When we got our car back, the truck's transmission blew a week later. We took it back and they assured us they would fix it, but refused to lend us another car so my husband could get to work. Then....the transmiaaion went out on our car AGAIN!!! The car is still at their "shop" - yeah right, supposedly getting a new transmission. At least I have another loaner (a car with one door that doesn't match the rest of the car, right off the for sale lot, of course). Here's the worst part: when we insisted that our payment be pushed out until we could get the truck back - while we wait to see if it will in fact be fixed - since we have been paying for a truck we don't have, they refused AND threatned to repossess the car if we didn't pay the truck payment! We thought this was probably illegal and can't seem to find a thing in our paperwork that says they can, but since they actually have the car in their "shop," what choice did we have? Their claim was that if they felt our car loan was "in jeopardy" they could repo it under "Default section e" (for those of you who have a contract with them - read it). I don't see how this applies to the car loan, but again, what could we do?

BEWARE of World Famous Auto! They are a ring of "con" men working together to get peoples salvaged titles illegally. They are croonies who seek out those who are young or in need and then they charge interest rates of 25% on the purchased vehicle! They will find ANY excuse to repo the vehicle they sold you once you have either made a down payment or a trade-in. They can then KEEP the profit of the trade-in or the deposit AND keep the "sold" vehicle. This is the modus operendi in "legally" stealing from people by WFA.
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM WORLD FAMOUS AUTO!!!!

If anyone wants to join my lawsuit please contact me at: Ouwie9111@aol.com

I've bought my fair share of used rigs. And I definetly know World Famous in Medford is a top contender. I first got the suggestion to buy from them from my cousin which has bought 4 or 5 cars from them the past 10 years. Well my story is that I bought a 03 Dodge 1500 for a fair price. Well, 29 days later the transmission loses third gear. I brought back the truck and without any problems they gave me a loaner and put my truck in the shop. A couple weeks later, it was done and I picked it up with no hassles, rental fees, or mechanic fees. And, the transmission has a 1 year unlimited miles warranty. Overall, the service is great and so far I'm impressed with this company and would recommend them to others. (adamw, 08/07/2009)

In 11 yrs. in the valley we have purchased 4 vehicles from World Famous Autos. 87 Ford Pickup, 93 Jeep Wrangler, 87 Jeep Cherokee, 80 Marlin Boat. They all are great running vehicles, never broke down. We did our research before going to any dealership-which everyone should, we set our price on what we wanted to pay/per month, the salesman was not pushy-like others in town. We have got the best price per vehicle and at 7.0% & $49./per month payments on our Jeep Cherokee we couldn't have gotten a better deal any where else. Our experience was a overall positive one, we will purchase from WF in the future.

I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealer. The first being a 1993 Explorer in which the engine blew up in 40 days. I had it looked at and was told the engine was on its way out for a long time. I bought a new engine as WF "master mechanic" said there was nothing wrong when I bought it. I guess he has x-ray vision. The second car was a 1994 Trooper. 24 hours after buying this the transmission went out! They sent me to thier tranny guy and offered to pay HALF of the repair!! I had it replaced at MY cost by a real mechanic! I just bought my 2nd car and 24 hours later they want me to pay for a tranny? Now a while later a see an RX 7 sitting on their lot that looked really nice. I buy that car and it was great. The starter went out in a week later but was cheap to replace. I sold the car 2 years later for more then I paid so not bad. I am a premium buyer now so I look at a 1997 Chevy pickup. The sales guy tells me its $9000 but for me its $7000. I told him the owner told me personally that he would do my sale and give me cost price. This I salesman says "that is what we paid"(KBB is $1500.00) I told him that I could buy a NEW 2008 Ford PU for $8,000 so why buy an 11 year old truck. He told me "well go buy that then" and walked away. I am glad I am a premium buyer so I can be told to buy somewhere else when I wont overpay. The owner is a nice guy and I have nothing against him. I paid on time and paid off 3 cars ahead of time. They always treated me fine but their mechanic is horrible. He does not have x-ray vision and they run cars thru to fast to really check them out. If something goes wrong on the first day THEY should fix it for FREE not HALF!! I want a truck, another dealer here has a 2004 Dakota Quad cab with 100000 miles, 4X4 in NEW condition for $6500.00 WF would charge $14,000.00 for the same car. I challenge the owner of WF (not using his name out of respect for him) to make me that same deal. I want a 2000 or above truck, quad cab or king cab truck, mid size,(Dakota) I will not put ANYTHING down as per the owner, will get 6% interest and will pay UNDER $6,000.00. You know I will pay it off early and was never late. You have my number, I am awaiting your call.

I have personally witnessed people picketing this company. Right on Central.

I have yet to meet anyone in Medford who has anything good to say about this place.

Im not talking about people not making their payments on time, nor am I talking about people that have had their vehicles reposessed. I am talking about good hard working people that just didn't want to go to Lithia or Butler, they wanted to go with the little guy. Which is exactly my philosophy, why give money to the people who already have so much of it?

After hearing from 7 different people who have no connections (except maybe 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon), I made up my mind not to ever purchase a vehicle from this place. From people having their trade ins literally stolen from them, to transmissions going out down the block and told to leave before the police would be called, to being boxed in by their service department and having their windows banged on with their children in the back seat to sign paperwork.

Do not conduct business with this company, look at their better business bureau report.

No one is happy with World Famous. They make sure of that.

My husband and I bought our Ford Explorer from WFAuto a few years ago when we were going to college at Southern Oregon. We told them we were on a budget and what we wanted to get. They did a great job finding us our Explorer and for exactly what we wanted our monthly payments to be. We have paid off the car and we are considered preferred customers. They seem to have a lot of problems with people not paying their bills. I always paid my bill over the phone. They were always helpful and nice. I know my information is secure with them. And our Explorer is still going strong and looks new still. So overall a good experience!

I had a great experience at World famous. I was kind of scared cuz of all the bad reviews , but either they just had a bad rap cuz of people who dont pay there bills on time, or they cleaned up their act. I new the cars would have problems cuz their used. But the salesman was very honest about the condition of the cars, he gave me my rate right up front, there was no pressure, and we were in and out quick. And we have really crappy credit. So I think I should give props where props is due. I would recommend just going down their and giving them a shot.

We went on their lot once. We were looking to trade in our Chevy S-10. I had just opened the door, the salesman walked up and said "You want this Ford Ranger right here!" I said no I don't. He asked why and I politely explained that my son, who was 12 at the time, was 5'8" and weighed 180 lbs, he wasn't going to fit comfortably in that "extend cab". He then says "Yes he will!" Practically shouting at me. I told him to get in there and ride cross country and see how he feels. He then tried to shove us in a 2003 diesel Dodge pick up crew cab, nice enough looking rig but it had almost 200,000 miles on it and they wanted $20,000! For that price I was going to go to a Dodge dealership. Then he started talking payment numbers instantly to my husband. I said I was done and walked off. I'm the one that makes the financial decissions and he ignored me. I was getting back in the truck and tried shutting the door. He grabbed it and demanded my phone number. I told him if he didn't unhand my door, I was going to call the police. It took me actually dialing the 9 and 1 to get him to let me shut my door. I also knows someone that "inspects" their trade ins. You DO NOT want to buy a vehicle there!

Last June, about two weeks before I was scheduled to have my baby, I was looking for a better car. My last one died. I looked at every lot in the Medford Area (except Ashland) to specifically avoid going to WFA ever again. (past bad experiences) Well, I wound up going there as a last resort as I couldn't find anything in my price range of $2000. I had the cash in hand and DID NOT want to make payments on anything. I kept telling them that I didn't want to make payments and they kept having me check out minivans that they "thought I could get into" for that much. Really long story short.... 5 hours later I drove off the lot with a minivan owing them $1000 until I could get my tax return this year. I've been making payments of $27.00 a month for the privilege of being able to pay it off later. So, today I go in to pay off a car I didn't want to make payments on. There was no way they were letting me leave the lot with $2000 in my hand and no contract! On a positve note, their head mehanic Woody has been great. I've had problems with the transmission leaking and he's been good about looking at it and trying to get it fixed. If you are going to do business with them you are going to have to make them fix things as they go wrong. Also, I've had a car repossessed by them about 6 years ago. They said I owed them money. I showed them the contract. On the back of the agreement it says that I agree to Pay the difference of what I owed and what they sold it for to the next person. I demanded that they show me what they sold it for and I'd be happy to pay the difference. I never heard from them again. ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT AND DON'T LET THEM RIP YOU OFF. BE AN INFORMED SHOPPER!

I swear the people on here on stupid they b**ch and complain about messed up cars from world famous autos but I can guarantee they never checked them out good enough or took it to a mechanic before buying it. I have gotten 2 cars from them and yes the first one was a piece of crap but that was my bad for not checking it out completely, but my second car is fabulous it's honestly the best car you could possibly get it's like new ya know so when these people on here b**ch and moan they shop at their own risk get over it oh and for the salvaged record crap they told me every car that i was interested in that had it so I don't honestly know why they wouldn't have told that person. Anyways yes they do have some duds but if you check out your sh*t then you gunna end up with either a decent or really nice car like I did.

Wow! One out of practically a million was acutally positive. I'm looking into purchasing a vehicle and I really can't go through a "big" dealership at this time, due to my credit history. I was actually going to go with World Famous Autos because of the "amazing" prices...but wow. Thanks for the reviews, now I know where "not" to go. Anyone got any suggestions??

I have bought 4 cars from World Famous Autos. All of them were in perfect condition and I was treated with the upmost respect. Even when I couldn't afford my car anymore due to health problems they offered to buy it back from me. If you shop smart (like with any dealer) don't expect a 11,000.00 car for 1000.00 then you should be fine wherever you go. I see alot of people buy trash or not buy wisely. Usually it is the buyers fault not the dealer. People always shop at their own risk.

Well folks, there are alot of thiings you need to know about these people and the dealership practices before you drive or maybe walk away i should say...FROM BEING RAMMED SO HARD UP YOUR YANG WITHOUT LUBE!! First off i really am not that violent of a person, but when i think of these diabolical f_cks it leaves me with some pretty tortureous visions that end up keeping a smile on my face. The carlot is full of deceptive vultures that play upon love, fear, and greed. For starters i read the review up top about the civic and ours is kinda the same story. WE found a 1999 honda civic SI looked badass, had been loaded with aftermarket products sounded good drove good..........so we thought. But what these pieces of sh-t didnt tell us or anyone for that matter,is that the vehicle they sold us was branded with a salvaged title!WHAT DID I SAY? THATS RIGHT A SALVAGED TITLE!!!! "{ISNT THAT ILLEGAL?"} ***WELL SURE IS ILLEGAL*** the purchaseing price of this vehicle was sold to us at $11,500 when in all actuality if the dealership and its representatives disclosed the information that they were legally obligated to provide to there customer "ME"!!! then i would have never bought this ride. And i dont think they would have sold it........starting to make sense yet?? the car was only worth half the value that they sold it for, plus the bad ethical buissness tactics used have been formulated all on a basis of fruadulent practice!!! Its not just one salesmen here or there...they are all in on it!!! THEY REPOSSESED MY CAR BECAUSE THEY ARE AWARE OF JUST WHAT IT IS THEY ARE DOING!!! THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR THREE MONTHS AND STILL SAY I AM BEHIND ON MY PAYMENTS!!! I DONT EVEN POSSESS THE AUTOMOBILE ANYMORE......Dont let these people get away with ripping you off,I KNOW IM NOT! THE STATE WAS REAL INTERESTED TO HEAR OF THIS PARTICULAR DEAL....Can you say "FRUAD THROUGH DECEPTION PEOPLE"!!! THE last case that a dealership was left with from an audit pertaining to these approximate circumstances wasnt pretty....<<<<1.5 million dollars to the folks that were sold a salvaged title under false pretense's. So just dont boil over with rage these people will hang them selves!THAT IS FOR SURE!!! sincerly your assoiciate in the hate for world famous felon's!

Ok so I got totally ripped off up in oregon one weekend at world famous autos, I traded in my 93 blazer for a 92 honda civic that "looked" nice, little did i know i was buying a clunker and getting ripped off on the price! The very first problem it had was the key would not come out of the ignition it was stuck, and they said all i would have to do is make a new key but that wouldnt work either. Next the air conditioning barely blows cold and I live in redding california and it is very hot here!!!!! even charging it up did not help, 100 bucks wasted right there. Next my battery went dead and i had to replace it with a new one. Next it started to burn oil like crazy, like one quart of oil every week!!!!! Now, the starter is going out and spins sometimes and last but not least the power door locks do not work. They were asking $6,999 for a 92 civic??????
I got it for about 5,700 which is still a TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!
I do not want to make payments on this car anymore, they said if I brought them 500 dollars and the car back I could get something newer. WOW what a joke!

This is the worst business ever! They sold me a car with sooooo many problems that I feel like I'm sinking in quicksand trying to catch up. They taped over my windshield wiper fluid light with black tape, they sold me a car with a crack in the windshield and the so called man that sold me the car lied to my face about the price. I still owe so much money on a car that I can't even drive! They should be shut down and reimburse every client that they have ever had! The first car that I bought broke down and that is why I even went back to them. They ended up talking me into getting financed for an even bigger lemon! I despise World Famous Autos!!!!!

So far every car that I have known someone to get has broken down between one to three months. All of these cars are no good and people still buy them. I would definitely not recommend world famous to anybody. I would not want to torture people like that. Some of their cheaper cars are in horrible shape. The cheaper cars are set apart in a different lot by the way. Some cars look nice but stay away.
