Book Corner has to be the best kept secret in the book lovers world. How can you go wrong with 50 cents for paper back and 1.00 for hard back books ? This bookstore features used books that are donated by the public. Proceeds go to Beaverton Library. The store is pretty well laid out. The only drawback is the limited hours of operation (as it is run by volunteers).
PROS: Best Deal on Books!
CONS: Limited Hours of Operation

This charming used book store is run by Friends of the Beaverton Library to support library programs & projects. Nearly all of their stock of hardbacks and paperbacks are 50 cents or $1.00; a few are a little bit higher, up to about $5 or $6.00. All of their books are clean and in nice condition. Be aware that they take donations only & don't trade or buy. The nice staff are volunteers who love books. The only hitch is limited hours--4 hours Tuesday through Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday. If you're looking for affordable newer as well as earlier titles in fiction & nonfiction, this is the place to go.
Pros: Inexpensive, great service, knowledgeable volunteers, helps Beaverton library
Cons: Limited hours
