My Kitchen Aid broke, when I called and explained the problem to them they knew exactly what was going on and were really friendly. They explained my options to me and it didn't seem like they were trying to "sell" me on any of them, just wanting to inform me. They fixed in the timeframe they said they would for a fair price. I would definitely return again.

Yes, there's a $35 evaluation fee. But they took my mixer in on December 22nd and called me to say it was done on the 24th. They'd made a special effort so I'd have it back for Christmas. They'd not only fixed the problem but they'd cleaned it and made it as good as new.

I was very impressed with the customer service at Cascade Electronics. The main tech that works there was very knowledgable and their prices were very reasonable. These other reviews must have the wrong business. I would highly reccommend taking your appliances here to be fixed!

I have never been disappointed with their service. I have taken appliances there that other places could not fix. Rather than take a gently used appliance to the dump and buy a new one I prefer to repair my trusted appliances. They have saved me lots of money!

I had a dehumidifier that wasn't working. I opened it up (I'm an engineer) just to see if the motor was working on the fan - It was fine; nothing was mechanically wrong. After paying $35 at Cascade for them to inspect the unit, the guy calls me back to say the motor had a bad bearing. This, I told him, cannot be. He then changed is answer to something else that was also expensive. These guys are dishonest - I'm sure it was just a $10 switch that went out and they want to charge me $130 for a new motor......don't bother with them!

Cons: dishonest, $35 inspection fee non refundable

Heads up: There is a fee just to leave something with them. They charged me and took over a month to tell me that my appliance is unrepairable and that they'll keep it if I don't come get it within a month or two.

Pros: Good location in inner SE

Cons: Slow service, non-refundable fees. Not recommendable.
