This space was previously occupied by Floyd's, which has since moved a half block down to a larger space. Good for Floyd's for sit-down traffic, but I was used to Floyd's drive-thru on my way to work. I decided to give the inheritor of the window a chance, and King Harvest has exceeded my expectations. You can see the espresso machine from the window and you can tell that they know how to use it properly. They don't use the ubiquitous S-town espresso, but what they do use serves well. They also have a pretty sizable breakfast menu, including fresh baked goods and burritos. I admire the blueberry cornmeal muffins and the chipotle breakfast burritos. They also have smoothies, which are a bit icy but quite tasty. If you need a quick breakfast option I recommend giving King Harvest a chance. Their logo is a carrot and their name is Harvest, so I may be missing a theme here (is my morning burrito vegan?), if you find out let me know!
