Phagans' Central Oregon Beauty

Phagans Beauty school has been around for quite a while here in Bend. I remember when I was a young girl, maybe 20 years ago, my mom took me there to get my hair cut. I remember crying because they cut it lopsided and too short. Looking back I feel pretty bad because I made the lady cry too!

I have gone back several times for small things- nails, haircuts, etc. and have never been overly thrilled with the results. I guess you get what you pay for. Luckily, I was smart enough to ask around before getting a perm. I decided to get it done somewhere else because after talking to a few people who had it done there, I knew I would be better off going elsewhere. I have heard from several people that it still cost around $50 for the perm and no one was satisfied with the results- they did not perm the hair like they were asked. I think if they are going to do a bad job they should make it very very low cost, but they are almost as expensive as a regular salon!

PROS: A little less expensive than a regular salon
CONS: Usually a poor job, bad results

this is great for a beauty school. i've gotten my nails done several times here, and i've really liked how they look. they did awesome with acrylic nails too, i liked them better than the professional nail places. and my nail tech was so nice and fun to talk too also.
