This place is awesome not only for their coffee but the food is amazing. They offer unique delicious brunch that changes weekly.

It took me going there twice for them to remember my "usual". Great place!

I love this place! They have great coffee and great food. Their breakfast specials (I remember some awesome peach waffles!!!) and coffee cake are the best, and my husband swears by their marion berry scone.

I go to The CC (Coffee Cottage) whenever I'm in Oregon. The atmosphere is great, the coffee is the best. They add little extras to their drinks - iced drinks get a dash of half/half for extra depth of flavor. Baristas add a dash of coffee syrup to tone down the bitterness. Their chocolate (white chocolate especially) are perfectly proportional to the drink - not too sweet. Their lunch menu is great too: gourmet sandwiches, salads, and quiche. Their scones are particularly wonderful. Everything is made on-site.

The atmosphere is great - set in a hundred-year-old house off of 99W, they have a great patio outside, and hardwood floors inside. It's a great / popular destination for George Fox University students (I went there all the time as a student). The people are down to earth, fun, and quirky. A great addition to any wine tasting in Yamhill Valley. I think I read somewhere that they were listed in the "Best Places to Kiss in the Northwest" book.

Oh yes... I definitely recommend this place. Stop by on your way through town. No - I don't work there, I just spend lots of money there when I'm in town!

The coffee cottage is a great hang out and relax type of place. It is usually filled with students from the nearby George Fox University but not too crowded or loud. A great place to grab a latte and have a good conversation with a friend or enjoy a good book.

Hooray for the Coffee Cottage Drive-Thru which just opened in another "cottage" or house a block east of the original Coffee Cottage coffeehouse. Both are local favorites serving coffee, espresso and baked goods. The original, sit-down location also has live music (lots of college bands) and sells cards and some books. The drive-thru is already popular but quick. Espresso is very tasty and baked goods are pretty good. Service at the sit-down location can be a little lackluster or seasonal, but it's all about the coffee, man! If you're serious about your java and passing through Newberg en route to the Oregon Coast, stop in or drive through the Coffee Cottage.

PROS: Good espresso & coffee, drive-thru, baked goods, locations
CONS:
