Blue Heron Bicycles

I recently started school at UO and bought an old, run-down bike to get around. I've taken it into the store three times for repairs/maintenance, and every time they've (a) done a great job on what I asked for, and (b) taken care of at least one or two other small problems free of charge. Its prices are the best I've found, I almost always get my bike back the same hour I leave it with them, and it's a family run operation. By far the best shop I've found in Eugene.

"hardly any room" must not go often. They have expanded and the store look amazing. Same great, helpful and cheery staff in a new bright and spacious environment. The owner is a really nice lady that will help you pick the bike that is best for you taking into account all of your needs. She isn't just trying to sell, like at some shops like Collins and Hutches, where I felt like an animal being preyed on. The rest of the staff is very knowledgeable and they are so quick with repairs. Every time I have taken my bike, that I got from Blue Heron, back for maintenance or repairs I have gotten it back in the same day, usually in the same hour. This store is truly above the competition.

I had a handcart with flat wheels that were difficult to inflate. The staff at Blue Heron were not only willing to help me, but were very friendly and did it at considerable effort for no charge.

I went to Blue Heron with my boyfriend to get his bike fixed, and I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the staff was. They told him which parts to get and then helped him fix it witht heir tools at no cost.

The staff here was helpful in explaining the features of different bikes. But there is hardly any room in the store and the bikes are crammed together making it difficult to shop.
